Know before you buy!
Easy, functional, and comfortable for even the difficult spaces. I've been using this utility knife for over 3 weeks now and it's been the best. Cutting with this feels a lot better then most flat utility knives. Pre-loaded blade that lasts a good while, 3 days ago switched sides. Thank you DeWalt!

Best utility knife I’ve ever owned
The retractable style utility knife feels much better in the hand than the folding kind. And Dewalt tools never disappoint. Glad I bought it. Been using it with no problems at all.

Best knife out there
best knife out there. I had my last one about eight years and used it every day. The button finally gave out but I'm not complaining !

My new favorite 'carpet knife' (so far at least)
I have tons of these utility knives around. Some are jammed up, some have bad blades, etc. So far this one is pretty good.At first, I found loading blades to be very difficult. I was going about it all wrong. I wanted to take the knife apart like you normally do. It is so easy with this knife. You just push the little black part near the knife and pull the blade off. (it must be extended all of the ways out to do this) If you are using a tool you are doing it wrong. (like I did) There is a video that shows you how to do this and it is really easy.It has an easily accessible spot to store the extra blades in. (push button access) So storing and replacing blades is very easy with this knife.Either way, it is shaped in a fashion that is easy to use and has soft rubber on the handle. It is way better than the cheap Stanley and unbranded stuff I had already. It has a little rubber pad where you would normally have a button. This keeps you putting pressure on your target spot without you pushing the button by accident and moving the blade around. So far it has been trouble free and has not jammed up at all.Now I have to buy another because my wife found this thing and wanted one of her own. There is actually one model that is a little bit nicer than this one. I think we are going to get that one. Even though you can get a less expensive utility knife, having nicer knives is my preference.

Good for light and heavy cutting.
because of the design of the knife i found the knife safer, compared to similar utility knives. i found i don't have to apply as much pressure when cutting something compare to a straight handle knife.
