The knob comes with three plastic adapters of varying diameter to fit shafts of varying diameter. The adapter is screwed onto the knob from the inside by a short screw, then the knob can be screwed onto the stick as tightly as the stock knob. Fits perfectly and does not wobble at all!

i like this new shift knob a lot. looks great and feels great specially for the price. i installed it on my 97 bmw 318ti. i had to make some modifications to my shifter but everything turned out like they were made for one another. it is much smaller in person for the record. in the picture it looks like it is closer to 1.75 inches wide, reality is it is only 1.25 inches wide. also i wish it was a little bit heavier but other than that i cant complain. aesthetically this shift knob is beautiful. very well made inside and out.

Installed pretty easily but the screw attaching the knob to the adapter couldn’t hold and flew off on a 1-2 shift. Note that I bang gears hard and it’ll most likely be fine with normal driving. Would recommend buying something with threads tapped into knob instead of an adapter.

I’ve had several razo shift knobs over the years in Hondas and Toyotas. I always liked how low they can sit and the adjustability they have for height. This one arrived quickly, was easy to install and fit perfectly. 3000 miles later it’s still tight and perfect.I do wish they made one in black, but that’s personal preference.

I ordered this thinking it would be an upgrade over my stock shift knob either in appearance or feel. It is far smaller than I expected and feels insubstantial in my hand (and I don't have especially large hands). The feeling is more like holding the end of a broomstick than holding a shift knob that is ergonomically functional. Perhaps all of this falls under the category of subjective personal preference, but it would have been helpful if the seller had indicated the dimensions.

it did fit with some adjustment to my '97 3 series. it looks slick and feels nice though being metal it picks up vibrations from the trans and engine. it is cold in cold weather but not hot in hot weather; better for warm weather. no slipping, nice grip. would be great with driving gloves. has Razo inscribed on it which I don't really like, would prefer it plain.
