Exactly as described
One was a little squashed when arrived, followed directions and soaked it, returned to correct shape. I sprayed them with adhesive and mounted on cardboard. This made putting them up easy, and you can take them down easier too.I don't have a sound meter but I could tell the difference. I am debating buying more. I think for entry level acoustic panels they did the job, I am glad I got the 2", I think the 1 might not have cut it.

READ BEFORE BUYING
This product is nice looking, and gives you a studio feel suppressing reverb in your room and definitely makes it easier for your neighbors to sleep while you game at night, or recording voice lines for your new role. The downside is that it doesn’t come with adhesive, and when paired with 3m it refuses to stick for longer than a day. Each day I have to replace a panel with even more 3m adhesives. This current panel in particular is up to 8 adhesives in total.Pros:-looks good-eliminates an “echo” sound in your room-reduces high pitch frequencies from leaking into shared walls-considerably cheapCons-Really hard to keep up on your walls without having to re-stick it every morning you wake upOverall, I would give this product 4 stars as the pros overcome the cons and would recommend this product.

Quite decent, but not as dense and sound absorbing as more expensive products
The product delivers mostly as advertised, but I was expecting a product that was firmer, denser, and delivered more sound absorption than it really does.I find that a sheet of rockwool does a better job than this foam. But I like the look, and the product - considering the price point - does disrupt and diffuse echoes. If budget is an issue, this is a worthwhile product; if you have more money at your disposal, look elsewhere.

Recommend
These are very thick and good quality but the overall weight makes them difficult to stick to the wall. I ended up super glue-ing print paper to the backs and then using double sided stick tape to adhere to the dry wall in my closet to create a home voiceover studio. Overall I think they do help with the sound quality and I recommend.

Does not work
These panels might be good to stop echos but by no means is this sound canceling panels I bought enough to cover my wall and it did absolutely nothing you could still hear a whisper through these things please dont waste your money

Works well for the price
Finding a good adhesion will be the challenge. Unless you're going to nail it to something. Other than that, I does an okay job for the price.

Not what I had hoped for
The foam comes packed in vacuum wrap and the panels are smooshed. It says to wait 12-24 hours for panels to expand and most of them did not expand after 36 hours. You have to pull them to get them back into original shape. The double sided tape they offer does not stick to the foam. About 50% of my panels have come off the walls. The foam sticks to the walls but not the foam. They recommend gluing paper to the back of the foam. Not something I was expecting. Would not purchase again.

does not stick to the foam
These are great but I cannot get the foam to stick to anything for very long. We have to keep putting them up every couple of days. I even tried to purchase different sticky tabs and the tabs stick to the wall but not the foam. Once I find something to properly stick them to it will be fine. It definitely helped with the eco in my daughters room.
