I just wanted a simple, unobtrusive clock to sit on the shelf and tell me the time. I did NOT want a big clock. I did NOT want a digital display. I did NOT want a lot of complicated electronic controls and functions. I did NOT want a clock that talks or is connected to the internet. I did NOT want a clock that needs to be plugged into the AC. I did NOT want a plastic appearance. I just wanted a small, simple, attractive clock with traditional hour and minute hands. Now I can glance at it and know the time. PERFECT!

It works great, and the battery lasts a very long time.

This alarm clock looks nice, but its bad design and extremely poor quality makes it a waste of money. Do not buy.The first problem is the battery cover. It was very stiff when I received the clock, and once I got it off, it would not click back into place, despite not being broken. So now I have now battery cover. There is no off switch on the top - the only way to turn the alarm off is a tiny slide switch on the back that is almost impossible to operate when you have just woken up. The much easier to feel knobs that change the time and alarm-time are much easier to find and easily snap off, meaning I constantly reset the time instead of turning off the alarm, or just break off the knobs.Finally, although the clock was silent when I first purchased it, within two weeks it began making a loud and rapid ticking - at least 10 clicks a second. This is clearly a fault in the mechanism and it is impossible to sleep through the rapid ticking sounds.So, an utter failure of design and quality. Do not waste your money on this.

Dependable, pretty, matched my decor and works. Keeps time without me having to advance it. Batteries last forever. Dark wood casing pretty and square base stable in our earthquake country. Nice to have several of these scattered around the house. Only a daytime clock, not intended to light up for night use.

For the price, I am satisfied. I like that it is real wood. I needed a new clock for either my office or bedside. For the bedside, it doesn't work for me because to push down on the light to see the time you have to find the button on the back and the light is pretty weak. So I moved it into my office, and the ticking is audible, if quiet. It also seems to run slightly fast. So, in the end, it's ok for the price but you get what you pay for. It also isn't very sturdy or well weighted so it can be knocked over easily. It looks nice though.

I have Mission style furniture in my bedroom and this fits well with that. Esthetically, I like the analog dial and the wood finish. Battery life - good. Maintaining the correct time: good. The light (turns on with the push of a button) is a nice feature. I also like that it does not take up a lot of space on my nightstand. I previously had a plug in clock, and when the power went out I would have to reset the clock and the alarm. For the price they are asking, this is a gem

This little clock is simple, fits well in the space I had for it, seemed to be accurate too. And it’s true that it didn’t tick. It did, however, sound like a tiny train set was buzzing around a track in there. Way too much noise for a bedside clock. Maybe I got one that had a problem. I tried fooling with the knobs, setting it on a pad, nothing worked. The little windup train kept flying along in there. I donated it and bought another brand whose style is not as much to my taste, but is mercifully silent.
