Fits great under a big GPU
After upgrading from a GTX 780 classified to an even bigger GTX 980 Ti Lightning I needed to change my PC case to a HAF XB Evo just to fit the GPU. The GPU blew the budget so I was continuing to use my older m-atx Z-68 motherboard and i5 2500k. The new GPU now fit in the new case but covered two of my six SATA ports on the MB which were needed. These Silverstone are exactly what I needed to finish the upgrade build. I wasn't sure how the 90° lateral cable design would work for both MB ports with how close the ports are to each other on the motherboard. The twin flat cable design allows enough flex to slightly bend one cable left and one right around the SATA connector next to it and the minimal height profile fits perfect in the tight space under the GPU. The cables seem to be constructed very well and are working great. I have use of my 3d Bluray burner and additional hard drive again.

Good for tight builds
Had an Optiplex build where the SATA ports were covered by the graphics card shroud, wouldn't have been able to use half of them if it weren't for these cables. Bit pricey, but worth it when nothing else works.

Wonderful product
Due to how my computer case was designed, I was forced to purchase these because the stock SATA cable connector is too large and puts stress on the Motherboard SATA connector which concerned me. One complaint I have seen is with the price and I have to agree with the majority but you have to remember that this is a custom cable. I just needed 2 and will purchase more for my future needs. It recognized my SSD's with no problem. Fun Fact - The side that has the SilverStone sticker is the correct way to install it.

Could be better hear me out.
This does seem like the perfect solution f you have limited space in your case and are forced to upgrade your video card. Sounds perfect in theory. The problem; the cord attaches perfectly to the mother board but they can not fit next to each other, they run out of the side of the plug, now if the cord came up from the socket or back that would be prefect but unless you're only replacing one cord and it's not next to others on the board, that would work. I was able to modify it to fit my needs but it could be built better. Additionally this is the only company that sells these types of card and they are pretty expensive for an SATA cable that you have to modify yourself.

These should be the standard!
I originally purchased these cables to make sure I could reach my two 2.5" drives in my chassis, and found the cable to be excessively lengthy to route. With the extra length, I was able to run them behind the motherboard area and then back topside to my driver and still have a little tuck away for wiggle room. The metal-free plugs are great and make for an easy attach and detach experience. I've only found two negatives to these cables and that's that their heads' dimensions ALLOW them to plug in directly next to each other, but it's not EASY to and the sticker-logo saying 'SilverStone' slide around and I ended up just taking it off. Pros: -Great alternative to box-standard cables -Long enough to work great in almost any case size -Low-profile headers look great and connect easily -Metal-less headers are easy to connect and secure once plugged in Cons: -Length can be unwieldy in smaller cases -Adjacent placement causes problems when using 2+ on the same motherboard -Logo sticker is cheap and comes off easily Overall: Best cables you can get for your hard drives, especially if you're tight on space around them.

Good low profile cable; thin but a little pricey.
This thin cable is pricey, but if you need something that can fit in and be routed through tight spaces, this is the one you want and it's worth the premium. If you need several of them I would recommend trying to find a better bundle deal of something similar, but if you just need 1 or 2 you can't go wrong with this, but you will definitely pay much more than you would for regular cables. That aside, it seems to be well made and served my purpose.

Saved my pc build
I got a big graphics card, and I could not plug in my SSD to the sata port on my motherboard, and I found this cable and it work great! It’s nice and low profile

Not quite up to Silverstone quality.
Got these several months ago, haven't noticed a drop in speed as others have said, they haven't failed or caused any weird behavior, but under the Silverstone logo sticker there are exposed wires, this doesn't feel like its of Silverstone quality, also the adhesive of the stickers come off just from the heat of a regular PC, thats how I figured out about the exposed wires hiding beneith. The 2 cord design it uses is a bit weird and there are not the same length, its not that much of a problem but take note of it. All that said, my computer looks a hell of a lot cleaner with these cables. They bend around tight corners and go in small spaces easily. I would highly recommend going with the longer 500mm size, the 300mm are too short for ATX and M-ATX cases, but would probably be just fine in an ITX case. I would rate these 5 stars if it wasn't for the exposed wires, Silverstone please address this!

I bought a DELL Optiplex 7010 Desktop PC for a bargain price! My intention was to turn it into a gaming rig for cheap and as it had an i7 3770 in it and 16GB of ram I almost pulled the trigger on a GTX 1050 until I found a used GTX 970 for £95! I bought it! Upgraded PSU and went to fit card but it fouled the HDD caddy! After drilling out rivets and such the card would fit BUT the shroud now blocked my SATA ports!! Not going well! I jumped to amazon to locate right angle sata cables. Most results the right angle either went top or bottom which would work but i would only be able to use 2 ports, not good! I then found these, they angle to the side, the SAME side and were low. Plugged them in and they sit snuggly under the GPU and all exit the same way and at the oposite end plugged into the devices they all exit away from the power connector. PERFECT!! Perfect length to and nice round cables that are very easy to tie up out the way for a touch of neatness in the case!
