I bought a Tapo magcam 4k (which is a small bullet camera) and I needed a shield to protect it from the hot summer sun. This cover works perfectly!!! My camera fits under this cover nicely! It was easy to install and is nice sturdy metal! I love that the underside is painted black to prevent glare. I'm Very happy with this purchase!!

We purchased six of these cameras and since we have never had security cameras before, we can't assure you that they are the best when compared to others. The picture quality is as shown during the day. At night, it isn't as good, but I think that is to be expected. If your camera is in a high traffic area, the battery will NOT last that long. In our case, with two people in the house, the camera at the front door is probably good for three months or so. The cameras' batteries installed away from the house last much longer. I have noticed that sometimes the front door camera misses recording altogether. It doesn't happen often, but I have walked out the door and not been recorded. We had to get a WIFI extender to reach the back of our property, and I think we will need another since the camera on the back porch is oftentimes offline. The cameras have spotlights that are supposed to turn on when activated by motion; one of ours doesn't. I did call customer support and found that they were helpful in troubleshooting issues. All in all, we are satisfied with this purchase. Would like to add an update: We had problems getting notifications when we set our cameras for customized time. It was hit or miss; we really didn't trust our cameras to inform us of activity outside. We only wanted them for nighttime, and the solution (worked for us) was to forget setting a customized time and just select "during the night."

I had problems with an exposed to the weather camera always becoming useless after a rain. This left a HUGE area not being covered. I looked at several covers and decided on this one because of the positive reviews. I received this dual pack camera covers and was extremely surprised at the thickness of the material and the simple installations. We just had a week of heavy rains and I glad to say that the item did the job perfectly. The night vision of the camera was not affected and despite heavy winds and sideway blowing rain it held up like a champ. I HIGHLY recommend this item!!!!!

Excellent product. Just as described in the product descriptions

They seem to be well made and sturdy, but even though they are black on the inside, it causes severe IR glare at night. I had to keep moving the camera down until it sopped but now it isn't as protected. Would be fine for cameras pointing down more, but one of the ones I have is more horizontal. Does the job though.

The size is perfect. Well made and easy to put up.
