Microsoft Azure For Dummies

Purchased as a Christmas gift. Fingers crossed that she loves it.

This book is a great start, but would need to be built upon for full understanding and reference

Several examples just didn’t work. Functions section was difficult. Maybe do an example where you push a code snippet from VSC rather than a picture. I’d guess that’s how most people would utilize an Azure Function.

This book is 0% for dummies. Not sure why the author decided to include instructions on how to do things in Azure instead explain concepts of Azure so that dummy would understand.

I am an IT professional who has been in this line of work for over 20 years. My current job is highly specialized, too specialized to get a comparable paying position with another company if thrown back into the job market. I bought this book to learn the Azure basics as cloud computing is gaining popularity.I have used the “dummy” books and found them to be helpful. This book was disappointing. It was not for “dummies “! It went too deep into topics and techniques that someone who has never used Azure before would not understand or want to learn. I would call this book more of an intermediate guide than one for dummies.

If you're looking for a book that provides a good overview of Azure, check this book out.There is logic and flow to how the material is presented, the author shares his personal experience and insights. It's much better than the AZ-900 Exam Reference. ( my opinion).

This book shows a basics topics about Azure Platform and gives you a high review of Azure tools

Really enjoying the structure of this book. It's easy for dummies like me to understand. :)There have been some negativity in these reviews about the book being difficult to read. I'll say this: The page or paper quality isn't great, but it's still perfectly legible. I don't have any problems reading it..Excellent book, I recommend.

So i bought this book thinking I will have a chance to learn about Azure and all the beautiful cloud work they Microsoft is working on. (Cause I did the same thing with AWS and Google).But no. This books had 1/15 of tech intro and straight away jumps in to coding.This book is not fitting the title.

The text font is difficult to read and stressful for eyes.

My copy had extremely poor print quality; ink was smudged and much of the text was illegible. I have returned the book.
