Unboxed, charged and ranged objects with known distances in back yard; worked fine.Played two rounds with it. I always shoot the flag at least twice before taking an approach shot.First round had a tough time getting repeatable pin lock. Second shot on a par 4 pin locked twice at about 5 yards longer than my 7 iron. Flew the green into trees behind the green. Penalty drop. Didn't think much about it. Rest of round continued to have trouble getting repeatable pin lock. Some holes just used garmin watch and used middle of green for target distance.Second round course conditions wet, partners decided to play one set of tees forward. Trouble getting repeatable pin lock continued. On first par three, pin locked three times at 6 iron distance. Flew the green into the woods, penalty drop. Partners asked what club. They hit 8 irons. Finally dawned on me that the rangefinder was not locking on the pin if there was anything behind the green. did not use the rangefinder for pin distance remainder of round. Did use for approximate bunker/hazard distances.Back home in back yard tried to shoot fence posts and smaller objects. Again, yardage returned would always be the large object behind.Returning this one.Two stars for the rechargeable and ergonomics. I might have gotten a lemon but flag lock issues do seem to come up in other reviews.

Looked good ,but it’s made of cheap plastic . Lasted less than a year.It just went DEAD in middle of my round .It was fully charged and stop working won’t even take a charge . You. get what you PAY for.

Overall, seeming like it’s a decent value for the money. Though I’ve had trouble locking on to pins at my course as they don’t have the reflective point on the pins and shooting the flag is difficult. Have mostly just been using my GPS app to keep up pace of play.

A really good rangefinder for the money! You can't beat it! Accurate for the most part, and very clear!

I have played about 5 times, and found it ok. The last two times, the distance was way off!!!
