This Lepro rechargeable head torch is an absolute gem! I’ve used it for camping, night walks with the dog, and a few DIY projects in dark corners, it never disappoints. The brightness is fantastic, with multiple modes that are easy to switch between depending on what you need.It’s lightweight and super comfortable to wear, even for long periods, and the adjustable strap fits perfectly. I've had a couple of different head torches before now and they've been great, since I live at the bottom of a dark farmyard. They get a lot of use.This particular model is the best I've had to date because it's useability is well thought out.On most of these headlamps, you have to cycle through several modes before you get to the red light.On this one, it has it's own button.As I do astronomy and astrophotography, this is crucial as white light destroys your dark adapted eyes, whereas red does not.The right button is for white light and it's 4 modes are reached through 4 clicks.Spot > Bright Spot > Flood > Bright Flood.The left button only has red or red/green flashing. So 2 clicks : Red > Red/Green.The best bit is that once you reach the desired mode, it only takes one click to turn it back off again (given it's been on for about 10 seconds).With my last headlight I had to shut my eyes to click twice through white light to get red on the 3rd click, then shut my eyes again to cycle 2 more clicks to turn it off (as I said, to maintain dark adapted vision).I can finally get red light with 1 click and turn it off with 1 click.Same with white for normal use.Other than that, I find it's 1st click spotlight decent enough, the 2nd click spot is brighter and better.The flood though is barely bright enough for anything much on the 1st click. I use the 2nd click, brighter flood which is still only enough to see you're not about to bump into something. Floods aren't great, but the spot modes are good.It's comfy, adjustable, USB-C chargeable and holds a charge fairly well so far.The included USB-C cable has to be the shortest one I've ever seen, but hey. I got two good head torches for cheap!

Note that this review is based on the few weeks I have had the product.Having purchased this product a few weeks ago, it's time to post my thoughts so far, both good and bad.After searching for a head torch to replace an older one that had become damaged. I found the LE model. As a dog walker I get up early so required a higher Lumens, and this one seemed to match my requirements.Let's start off with the negative:I have no idea why this is only offered in a twin pack? I didn't come with two heads, but I find myself forced to buy 2 units for the special price of more than the single unit I can actually use.I don't understand the reason behind the red lighting option. I am sure someone will find this useful, but IMO most users will not need or never use this function. So again I feel like I am forced into paying for something I do not need.On the positive side.The units arrived quickly and well packed. Both units arrived in the same box and both worked as they had some charge in them.Charging is simple and quick. I would advise that you charge from a plug and not from a PC as the USB on a PC takes a lot longer. The first charge of both units took less than half an hour.The battery lasts longer than expected. I have no way of telling if the battery is Lithium-ion as I do not intend on pulling the unit apart. but after my first charge, the torch lasted me more than the 15 hours suggested in the description.The unit is comfortable to use and easy to adjust to the size required.The torch, with the 4 settings is bright enough to use in all situations. I have not found myself at any point thinking I needed more light (or wishing I had purchased a brighter unit). The beam setting illuminates far enough in to the distance to be comfortable. There is no way to confirm the 150m distance quoted in the spec, but it's enough that I don't feel closed in by the dark.Build quality is good. After using the tilt on the bracket. I can see some slight marks but not enough to worry me that it may become loose or slack at any point, but this would be more of a long-term test.Overall I am impressed with the unit and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a head torch. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to being forced to buy 2 units, and this is still a short term review.

You get two of these in a pack, and the head band is really strong and wide so it keeps the lamp tightly on your head without it hurting. The whole thing is way lighter than my old one and you barely know you've got it on.The lens is very easy to tilt using one hand and has quite a large range of tilt on it. You could easily use it to work on something on the desk right in front of you.The two buttons are rubberised so you can feel them easily and quickly while the light is on your head. Press the left one once for red light, and twice for red and green flashing light. I have no idea why red and green flashing, perhaps it's easy to see in the dark at a distance in an emergency? The red isn't very bright, but it is way more than bright enough to read a map, or compass, and I even found it fine for walking around my boat at night. (That's what I bought it for.) Bear in mind if you press once for red and leave it on red for any length of time, a second press actually turns the torch off. You only get flashing red and green if you press twice in succession.The right button is 1 press for dim spotlight, and dim is almost too bright to read a book by. A second press gives you bright spotlight and you could easily use this as a headlight for your bike. For me, I will be able to easily see when docking even in pitch black.A third press gives you dim flood light. This is wide enough and bright enough for a full size chart, or to read a newspaper, or to see an area like the bow when you're setting up an anchor at night. Walking at night in pitch black it would also be perfect for seeing your way along a path.A 4th press gives you full brightness flood light which is excellent. The difference between brightness of low and high spot is much greater than low and high flood. But high flood is more than enough for maybe walking the dog or inspecting your garden in pitch black.These are perfect to keep 1 in a draw downstairs and 1 upstairs in case of a power cut. Again, same as the left hand red light button, to get bright spot it's 2 presses, 3 for dim flood and 4 for bright flood. However if you light has been on 1 press -dim spot- for any length of time, 1 more press will simply turn it off.They come with two small USB C leads so you'll never be stuck for power. I love them already especially for the giveaway price.

Great piece of kit, very bright with 3 or 4 different light options, usb charged, lasts hours. makes the dog walks in winter so much easier. Great value for 2 torches.

Worth every penny, good quality and build (therefore durability) for the price. Adjustable strap for a good fit. Unable to comment on battery life as only just received the product,then fully charged before use walking the dog at night.The Red and Green lights double up as charging lights which is helpful.The feature I like the most is the lighting combination. Firstly apart from selection there is no need to cycle through all lighting possibilities after the original selection. Once the chosen light mode is in use the next press turns the light off without cycling through the other options. Plus all options interact together, eg select red (or red green flash) with a focused or wide beam white light, both can be turned of with a single click (no need to turn off individually). Portability wise it a head torch, adjust the strap and wear it.

Battery life is great in these, great price - we use them to walk our dog during the dark mornings and nights there are a few different settings, the brightest really does go so far I can keep track of him whilst off lead and see everything around him, even the less brighter setting is great for lightly lit up areas. The head srap is easy to adjust and stays in place, i have a tiny head and my husband larger and easily adjusts for both of us! I honestly have no complaints at all would absolutely reccommend!

I've been using a most excellent but heavy torch when out with the dogs in the dark evenings and wanted something I didn't have to carry. These Lepro head torches are bloomin' fantastic! Comfy headband which is really important - soft and not scratchy and feels very secure when on. The light on these though are spot on and I was really impressed at just how far the beam goes and how bright it is. Certainly makes walking down dark country lanes a lot less daunting especially when walking a dog that loves to go from one side to the other for sniffs and was constantly in fear of dropping the torch. Also as a bonus, the light points exactly where you're looking so very handy for pick up duty!First evening of use it was absolutely tipping it down and if Cornish rain didn't phase this torch, I'm fairly confident the claims of being waterproof are correct.Currently charging it for the first time since it arrived - it doesn't appear to be dwindling but it's had I'm not sure how many hours of use, at least 10+ so battery life has been excellent so far.Still early days as I've been using for less than a month but so far would not hesitate in recommending. Must have piece of kit!

Le lampade arrivano confezionate in una piccola scatola di cartoncino, protette con delle bustine di pluriball.Nella confezione sono presenti anche i due cavetti di ricarica e il manuale di istruzioni.Le lampade sembrano decisamente robuste e anche la banda elastica sembra essere di buona qualità.Il perno di fissaggio della lampada alla piastrina di plastica dentro cui passa la banda elastica, sembra essere un po' delicato ma, tuttavia, consente una buona regolazione dell'inclinazione della lampada senza apparire troppo lasco o troppo duro.Il doppio comando delle luci l'ho trovato estremamente utile, in quanto è possibile in modo indipendente, selezionare la serie di luci bianche oppure la luce rossa, in modo da evitare eventuali abbagliamenti indesiderati in ambiente buio.La lampada si spegne cliccando in sequenza lungo tutte le modalità oppure con un singolo clic una volta passati circa 3 secondi dall'accensione.Ho avuto modo di testare la lampada anche sotto un po' di pioggia senza alcun problema.Ora la parte più interessante; la luminosità è assolutamente perfetta.La luce rossa permette una illuminazione ottima tale da consentire qualunque tipo di operazione in ambiente completamente buio, purché si tratti di necessità di illuminare a distanze non superiori a 5 metri.Le modalità a luce bianca sono altrettanto efficaci; la modalità "flood" (fascio ampio) è utilissima per una illuminazione molto ampia con una profondità fino a circa 12m (livello alto) mentre la modalità "throw" (fascio stretto) riesce ad illuminare in modo puntuale anche a distanze notevoli (probabilmente anche fino a 50m al livello alto) con un cono di luce che, a circa 10m, proietta un cerchio illuminato di circa 1,5m.Ho felicemente utilizzato le lampade durante una navigazione notturna a vela e posso dire che si sono dimostrate assolutamente efficaci ed adatte allo scopo.
