Works Perfectly on Bose Wave IV Radio/CD Machine (Where another brand did not).
Bought for our Bose Wave IV radio. Here is what i found: First tried a Trisonic cleaner which has a single cleaning pad and it did not work. Then tried this Allsop with 8 cleaning pads and it did work, perfectly and without cleaner fluid. Our trusty Bose Wave is happy again.

Works well.fast prosses..
Does what's it supposed to do. Hard to tell since my DVD player was old but seem to be freezing towards the end of disc. Seems to have helped.

Great tool for cleaning your CD player
I have a front-loaded TEAC PD-301-X CD player and I've been pretty happy with it for a couple of years now; a few weeks ago it started skipping some tracks on CDs (even clean or new ones) and making funny noises during playback. I tried this and voila... problem solved!! Highly recommended!!

RECOMMENDED! CLEANED ALL MY MUSIC CD PLAYERS-BOOMBOX-STEREO-CAR &PC!
JUST POP IT INTO ANYTHING THAT PLAYS MUSIC CD'S( WHICH IS WHY I BOUGHT IT). THE CAR STEREO- BOOMBOXES- SMALL CD PLAYERS- REGULAR MUSIC STEREOS- AND COMPUTER DRIVES. ****If you enlarge this item cover, you can see in the description, the amount of things that can be cleaned with this cleaning disk.*** For those using it to clean audio devices, you pop it into the disc player-and listen to the directions. YES, LISTEN! You will hear music from the disk and then a voice telling you what to do( you have to press a certain track number) and the cleaning gets done ULTRA FAST- like less than 90 seconds! I put this in ALL my devices before I started to use my music cd's in them, and here is why: We had major renovations done in the house and my fear of the massive amount of dust sent flying around and possibly having gotten into various electronics, made me want to clean them as best I could before inserting any cds into them. If you care about your devices- if you care about your cds- get this. It is basically a cheap item, price wise- but it does the job!

Stopped working after less than 10 uses
This is the second lens cleaner that stopped working almost immediately. The other was a different brand. I have a couple of lens cleaners that I bought more than a decade ago that still work in my drive. I purchased the newer two just in case the brushes on my old lens cleaners were wearing out. Guess I'll try to find another new one that maybe will work for a while!

Instructions are nonsense
I have bought and received three different CD lens cleaners in the last week--this one (the Allsop eight-brush disc with green packaging), the Endust disc, and the Maxell CD-340 disc. The only written instructions on any of them are on the packaging. The Allsop is the only one where those instructions relate to what actually happens, and basically all they say is to listen for the verbal instructions on the disc. They also warn the user not to play Track 2, but don't say why. Now here's where it gets strange. The verbal instructions for the Allsop and the Maxell are identical--same words, the same female voice--even though the discs are sold by different companies and the Allsop has eight little brushes and the Maxell just two. The verbal instructions make no sense. Track 1 tells you go to go to Track 3 when the music stops, and Track 3 immediately tells you that cleaning has ended and gratuitously invites you to enjoy the music, which continues. So when was it cleaning? Presumably during Track 1, while the female voice was talking and the background music was playing. But no one tells you that, so you are left to wonder whether it actually did anything at all or whether you were supposed to let it run through Track 2, and whether you should repeat the process to see if you missed something. But remember! the packaging said that dragons lurked on Track 2! Oh, and the face of the Allsop disc (not the packaging, and not the voice) states that the disc should be stored with the brushes facing up, while the Maxell says nothing about it, leaving to user to assume that it should be placed in the jewel case like any other CD, with the playing surface down. And, anyway, the general consensus is that CD's should be stored upright, not flat. These things may or may not work, but the people who designed the consumer interface are remarkably clueless: 1.) If everything the user needs to know is contained within the verbal instructions, say so on the packaging and don't complicate it with other instructions, there or on the face of the disc. 2.) Let the user know what track or tracks are doing the cleaning. 3.) If Track 2 must be avoided on pain of death, say why. 4.) Get rid of garbage like the music at the end. If it's there for a reason--to check how the player sounds--then say so. This whole experience smacks of laziness and penny-pinching on the part of the companies that sell these products, as they have evolved from older ways of doing things, like "instruction manuals" that no longer exist, to newer ways that have only been partly thought out. And no one caring enough to check the end result.

Works fine on multi-disk CD changer
Had problems with a Pioneer Multi-disk CD changer skipping. One reviewer showed an image of their packaging indication not to use in Multi-disk CD changers. The Allsop CD Laser-Lens Cleaner I received apparently had changed their packaging as that warning has disappeared and was replaced with a warning not to play track #2 (see attached photo). I ran the Lens Cleaner several times and finally the CD’s play just fine now. The cleaner skipped quite a bit when I first ran it, however after letting it run for a while and several passes, it finally played the cleaner audio okay as well as my music CD's. I originally saw the Allsop cleaner recommended on an old CD forum, glad I found it on Amazon. UPDATE: After viewing the images from another reviewer, I found the package I received has a copyright date of 2013 (old stock?) and the cleaner with the multi-disk warning has a copyright date of 2021. So use at you own risk, thankfully mine worked okay.

Great CD Lens Cleaner. Good Value.
My Panasonic player SA PMS92 is a great little unit. But the other night, I put a Cd in and it just said reading and after a minute or so NO PLAY. After trying several discs with the same result, I knew it was the player. Straight to Amazon and purchased the Allsop 56500 CD Laser Lens Cleaner. As soon as it arrived I put it straight in my player, 3 minutes later CD’s playing as good as ever. Easy to follow instructions, quick and effective. Very happy to recommend this Lens Cleaner, it's a great product. So relieved it was just a dirty lens. A+++
