Accept it for what it is.
The artwork is good. The concept is imaginative. But the execution leaves some to be desired.I can appreciate a story that takes its time. The character development and relationships build up and conflict. But this book feels like it was rushed, especially the dialogue. In the first book alone, they have to try and get most of the Terminator's key phrases all pushed in like, "hey, remember THIS?" They don't treat it like a brand new story, but rather hope that you already know the backstory for the two groups first, even though this will re-write some of that, and I feel this was a mistake. The artwork is good. And, being part of the generation that watched BOTH in its originality, I had hopes for this, but, typically, those hopes are never brought to fruition. It's not that it's a horrible book, because it's not. But it was potential that wasn't reached because it seemed like there must have been constraints on time or space in order to get this one done. So, it just feels kinda flat. It's fun, but, it's not revolutionary. It's more resembling a half-reached gimmick than a purposeful exploration of this mixing of worlds.

Hopefully the sequel will be better
This was a decent story with great art, but I was hoping for more. Something like what they set up at the very end for a possible sequel.

Could’ve been a lot better
The art work alone is a 10/10 but the story is lack luster, taking iconic characters and rebranding them for the sake of rebranding, the story is really bad and was a chore to read, the concept sounds really awesome but the way they executed it in this book was very underwhelming, not bad but no where near good

Till All Are One Under Skynet!
This is a great crossover story. The artwork isn't bad, I miss the Dreamwave comic book artists. I only wish that they could make this into a straight to dvd/ blu-ray animated movie.

Terminators in disguise!
This was a fun read. It's kind of what you expect from a transformer/terminator combo... But a little different. Definitely check it out if your a fan of either or both. The artwork is great too.

Better than I expected.
I consider this alternate reality of Transformers and Terminator to be a satisfying story, which speaks to how well it is thought out. I recommend it.

Fun but rushed.
A good read for fans of both properties. Development of story and characters feels rushed. The artwork is amazingly great.

Your Terminated
I loved everything about the book. Great story true to both franchises. The story of Skynet being on the losing side is a great start. I love the subtle way the first change happens.Great artwork on both the interior as well as the great covers. Lot of action, on a personal note Sarah Connor is my favourite character from the Terminator franchise it was great to see her in action as well. This is a great crossover. I really hope there is another part to come. I would love for there to be. This is must have for a fan of either franchise. Great cover gallery and sketch book at the end as well.

Till all are terminated
Another in the continual series of Transformers crossovers with other successful cult and science fiction franchises, this is the omnibus edition of the four-part comic serial from 2020.After thoroughly enjoying a couple of these crossovers in recent years, I wasn’t personally that enthused with this one. The main issue being that there is a bit of a lack of storyline. The initial concept is excellent and successfully utilises the starting point of both franchises, merging them into a coherent whole. It is, of course, fortuitous that the time when the Ark revives the Transformers roughly coincides with the time period that Skynet sends the Terminator of the original film to. Thus, the basis behind this crossover is that the Skynet of the future exists in a world conquered by the Decepticons and the sends the Terminator back in time to avert the awakening of the Transformers aboard the Ark.Despite this promising beginning the story soon devolves into little more than a slugfest between Autobots and the Terminator against the Decepticons. That’s not to say that the action sequences aren’t entertaining or well-drawn. It’s just that, overall, it could do with a bit more story and character development alongside the continual action. Only the inclusion of Sarah Connor provides these things. There is a personal story for her included which works quite well in giving a human element to events. She also partly fulfils an almost Buster/Spike Sam Whitwicky role alongside Bumblebee. There is a token effort of inserting the very typical idea of Starscream attempting to coerce and use the Terminator to overthrow Megatron. This feels a bit forced, however, and that it is just there because it is expected. It doesn’t really amount to much.Sadly, the touch of humour and slight tongue-in-cheek approach that has been present in other Transformer crossovers comics is absent here. But that is most likely because the original Terminator film that inspires this is much more serious than say ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘My Little Pony’.As usual with these compilations there is a lot of additional artwork included which often depicts things that never actually happen in the story. Often these involve physical ‘crossovers’ between Cybertronian and Skynet technology. Despite this artwork there is a lack of this in the actual story. There is no transforming Terminator, for example. The opening scenes from the future do, however, depict Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker in altforms that resemble the dropship vehicles seen in the Terminator films. These appear fleetingly and aren’t as integral as Ectotron is in the Ghostbuster crossover or the transforming Enterprise in the Star Trek one.

Great art, good concept, rubbish dialogue.
While the art is stellar (as to be expected from artist Alex Milne) and the story itself is a fun concept, I was really let down by the script. The writing at times feels disjointed, as though some of the dialogue had been removed in editing, which may have been done to save space but in effect means some of the panels don't 'flow' properly. As for the dialogue itself, there are far too many call backs to Transformers the Movie; I get that this is set in the mid-80s, which is when the movie was made, but it feels lazy, as well as frequently feeling shoe-horned in to create a "cool" moment that instead comes across as wince-inducingly cheesy.Dialogue aside, the story has some interesting beats, some bold choices, and sets up an interesting possible sequel that I'd still pick up as long as the art team's the same.

A Must Have For A Child Of the 80s
The 80s had a thing for robots, and blowing things up.In a sense you couldn't get anymore iconic than the Transformers and The Terminator. One of them from a distant alien world, one from an Earth humanity strives to avoid. It's always hard to do a review on books for the reason of playing spoiler, but I'll try.The author shows an understanding of what makes both franchises great. Yes, they do a lot of the classic one liners, like "Why do you throw away your life so recklessly Prime?" In some ways speeding things up, since Megs and Prime won't have an all out winner take all battles for another 20 years give or take. In someways the way they use both the Autobots and the Decepiticons shows they did their research. Yes some of them are smarter than they were in the cartoons from back in the 80s, but you know what big deal. The point is every character is on point The authors tie into what makes the Terminator series great early on, trying to prevent Judgment day, while in the case of this book insuring skynet will be made to avoid that time paradox. Talk about walking a fine line. As with the movies when the Terminator realizes it can't complete it's mission it changes to still work toward it's ultimate goal. There are moments where it seems smarter than it does in the movies.Don't think I forgot about Sara Conner, despite not being knocked up with baby John she has a solid arch on point with what we see in the movies. At the end this is something you've got to have if you love either franchise, even if at this state it's getting a bit old with all the crossovers.
