My wife and I were shopping locally for a log set and we were amazed at the expense of the log sets and the cost to set them up. Please do your research and you’ll find that this is the best realistic natural gas log set on the internet… especially if you’re on a budget! And the packaging from RH Peterson Co is outstanding! This 'charred oak' set with the split burnt through design, gives the feeling and appearance of a real set of logs burning in your fireplace. Coupled with the G45 burner, which adds depth to the flames, this set gets as close to the real thing as it gets! We looked on Amazon and found this log set. We actually were about to purchase this same log set locally, but with the G4 burner on sale for $759.00, but through Amazon we saved over $200.00. And by using "how to install" videos, it allowed me to hook up the gas and install the log set in just a matter of minutes. It couldn't have been easier. I would recommend this to anyone. We purchased these logs on Saturday January 13, 2018 and we received them on Tuesday January 16, 2018... And I must say that this is one of the best purchases that we have ever made on Amazon.

Researched most realistic looking logs on internet and this brand name kept on popping up. Went to a retailer to look at these and were very impressed! Purchased the charred oak which we liked the best. Installation was very easy as we already had gas log starter in our fireplace. We did not elect to purchase automatic pilot light and find manually lighting to be quite easy and saved a lot of money. Completed installation in about 30 minutes with little to no swearing. Had to purchase pipe dope to seal. They really are beautiful, a well made product and worth every penny! They throw off some heat.

Very attractive log set, very realistic and kicks back some heat into the living room. Worth every bit I paid for it and now actually looking forward to some long cold dark wintry nights.

Great customer service (I called to enquire about the receival after I ordered, to check if I was really going to get it prior to Christmas eve), and the staff were friendly and informed about shipping and received dates. The fireplace insert looks so realistic whether the fire is on or off, and has all quality parts when assembled (with good instructions). It exceeded our expectations! We truly love it.

My wife and I love the final result. We rarely used our fireplace before this, now it's a regular feature on cold evenings. Installation was relatively easy. The one issue was that our fireplace has the gas on the left, and the burner has the gas inlet on the right. Getting a flex-hose for natural gas was easy, but a lot of burners are reversible. I wish this one was.

Yes, it's more pricey than other sets, but when you open the box, you'll see why. And when you install this into your fireplace, you will be absolutely stunned. My friends have said it's the best gas log set they've ever seen. I love it and can't wait for cooler weather. It was half the price on Amazon that a local brick and mortar store had, and I was able to find a local gas company to do the piping and installation. Very happy!
