Good, deep tone. Not too loud
I may obviously be biased but I installed it on a 2005 Jeep GC with a Hemi. I have no resonator, just a straight pipe into the tailpipe on the way out. It's really not that loud, but has a nice deep tone. I personally dont think it has a drone. Im happy with it. Any modified Mustang or Camaro is way louder than this. I was kind of expecting a loud ass roudy exhaust set up because it is a "glasspack" and its literally a just a straight through pipe with some baffles but its really not. Actually improved my MPG so I assume it creates some backpressure because exhaust 101 you cant have a totally free flowing exhaust, you have to have some backpressure.Regardless, I'm happy with it, but depending on your set up dont expect it to shatter windows.

Good little muffler for fine-tuning.
Purchased this muffler for my '05 Scion tC with straight pipes to try to kill the rasp a bit. It did about as much good as could be expected out of a tiny muffler. It deepened the tone a little bit and cut out some rasp in lower and higher revs, but don't expect it to make your car sound mean alone.I've stacked up two of these and a hushpower 18" muffler, and together it sounds great--these little cherry bombs put a nice color to the sound of an already decently-tuned exhaust. These are nice because you can fit them onto small stretches of straight pipe--my exhaust had lots of 12-14" stretches connected by bends. These glasspacks let me put those small stretches to good use, saving the main stretch of midpipe for a larger muffler.Protip: it really doesn't matter which direction you install these things; the orientation of the louvers doesn't noticeably affect the performance. The dampening effect of these mufflers occurs because the louvers 'grate' the sound waves that bounce around in the muffler, and they bounce around in all directions... so don't stress it.

Definitely worth buying!!!
I really like the value for money and how easy it was to install! I had to buy a piece of pipe due to the size (no issue really), but overall I'm impressed! I used this muffler for my 09 Jeep Liberty Sport 3.7L V6 and it sounds amazing. Nice deep growl and sounds fantastic when accelerating down the road, also quiet from the inside (unless windows are down). I'll try to add a picture or video at another time!!

EXACTLY what you’d expect (read until end)
- Inlet and outlet is 2.5” ID (Inner Diameter)- Inlet/outlet quality control was poor, both ends were out of round, fortunately out of box the diameter tolerance didn’t make this an issue as it still slipped over a 2.5” OD pipe well enough- This is an 8 inch long body with a 2.5” perforated pipe in a 3.5” diameter body space, so overall the “volume” of the chamber containing the glass fibers is very small and the perforation holes are tiny- The inner perf tube is a rolled sheet with a crimp lock and is secured to the body by only 4 tack welds in total, two on either end- The paint was a nice signature deep cherry bomb red and the box had protected it’s condition rather well- The paint was easy enough to weld through with a classic flux core welding setup (I do advise cleaning the paint, the welds do come out nicer, and always wear the proper eye protection)Despite most of these points sounding bad, it’s a great little unit. I got this piece on sale for $30 with prime getting it to my door next day, so that also plays a big factor on overlooking the quality aspect. $45 normally would put this into a bad purchase category because the quality is too poor compared to other offerings in the new “$50” price range. This is the type of thing you get as a last ditch resort resonator for that one spot wedged way in there where literally nothing else but a 6” Dynomax race bullet would fit. It’s essentially a straight piece of pipe and is in no way a muffler, but hey if it tones down the rasp a bit and it’s fits in the spot I want to put it, it’s worth the $30. It’s a small body resonator glasspack and if that’s what you want, this is EXACTLY what you’d expect.

If you want LOUD, then buy this
First off I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the straight 6. I installed this bad boy on it and you can hear the difference. Every time you step on the gas you're hearing the glasspack in action. Very loud, with some drone at high speeds. For the sound it sounded a little too raspy for my taste. Kind of sounds like a diesel engine without the turbo whistle. I chalk it up to having a 6 cylinder Jeep. Would sound much better on a v8. After 5000 miles or so the fiberglass inside burns out and it becomes a regular straight pipe. Very loud and kind of obnoxious. After having the glasspack on for 7 months I decided to upgrade to a flowmaster super 44 and I am very pleased with the sound. Not as loud but much deeper.1. Good price2. If you want a loud exhaust get this3. If you want a deep exhaust get a flowmaster

2012 Mazda 3 2.0
The media could not be loaded. I put it on my 2012 Mazda 3 2.0, as well as a 4 inch tip that I bought for 20 bucks on Amazon. Payed 60 bucks to get it installed. I planned on doing it myself, but the way the exhaust is set up on this car would make it very difficult so I just left it to the professionals. It sounds even better in person, the camera doesn’t do it justice. It sounds great when driving.

Sound is amazing!
Had straight piped my nova after my 383 stroker install sounded great but it was getting a little annoying driving around town. You could barely hear the passenger next to you. Unless it's the wife sometimes that wasn't a bad thing! But I put these cherry bombs on the car and absolutely love the sound not as loud as a straight pipe but louder then a regular muffer. It's the perfect balance between the two. It helped out alot with drone sound at higher speeds. Should have brought these a long time ago! Happy customer money wise and sound!
