Nice fan, quiet depending on how you install it.
Have this hooked up to the far end vent for a Bambu P2S printer to exhaust toxic fumes. Yes the instructions say don't use this for toxic fumes but I figured if thousands of others have been using this for their printers over the years it must be ok. There aren't a ton of toxic fumes, and they're not flammable fumes either. I would not use this for flammable fumes. It moves a decent amount of air once it gets to the midway power setting. On max it move a little more but this doesn't need to be hair-dryer speed to do it's intended job. Yes it's a little noisy if you don't have any vent tubes hooked up to it. I have it midway on power and connected to a flexible 4" dryer duct on one side and a tin dryer duct on the other. I can hear it from 5 feet away but barely. If you've ever been next to a RADON fan it kind of sounds like that...super muffled. It's right below our master closet and if I stand in the closet and purposefully listen, with no other noises going on, I can barely hear it but I know what I'm listening for. The spousal unit has not noticed at all, and she's in there a lot. I think that's her safe space, not that she needs one mind you. But with the clothes everywhere it helps to shut out distractions and noise and I see how it can be calming to hang out in there. Back to the topic--Once you turn it on it seems to start at 100% power, then quickly lowers power to wherever you have it set. Nothing wrong with that, just wanted to point it out. I have it plugged into a smart receptacle, so I can turn it on from afar. Should come in handy if I forget to turn it on and start a print and leave the house. Can also monitor energy usage, but I don't think it draws much. The housing is exactly 4" diameter, the exact same as most hard/tin 4" ducts. This is a little annoying. I have it connected directly to an outdoor dryer vent, and the tube that came with that vent is the exact same size as the housing, so I had to buy a short super thin adapter and clamp the vent to the adapter, then the fan to the adapter. I did get a 4" flexible dryer duct attached to the other side, little challenging but it fit. I only use about 4ft of the flexible duct, then it goes to hard duct and runs across the room to the printer.

Solid cheaper option but not much air movement
This is a good inline option for the price, doesn’t move the most air but it’s pretty durable. Not too heavy easy to instal. There are better options but this one works for the beginner

Little noisy but great besides that
I got the 6 inch one and have had no problem the dial actually smoothly adjust the speed it is a little noisy and makes a hum that you wouldn't want in your bedroom but besides that it works quite nice

It cost a little bit more and is completely worth it!
I did a great deal of looking around the internet for user feedback on this fan. What I found was not stellar. However, nobody was steller that had significant feedback. The cheaper units had worse ratings. So, I went with this unit and paid a little extra. I'm quite pleased with this unit after receiving and getting first hand experience. I will list below what I found. 1. Built well and not flimsy. Not a peice of junk! 2. Not excessive fan noise like some of the reviews. The fan noise was not a problem at all. The house HVAC is louder than this fan on full setting. 3. Did not measure the CFM. However, output was more than the replaced fan while being quieter. 4. I cut off the speed control and operated it at the full CFM @120VAC. The speed control worked just fine. But, I didn't need that.

More solid and cheaper than local
Rented out a house where I had to run heat to a bedroom and bathroom that the previous owner converted from a garage. Ran duct instead of the baseboard heater that was previously installed. It was a pretty long run, about 35' of 8" ducting and a couple branching off of that. 4 total registers. Went to the orange store to buy one of these but they didn't have the 8" in stock. Said I'd have to order it online and when It comes to that, I'd rather just order it on Amazon. This thing is solid. Metal fan blade, pretty solid housing. And cheaper than the store by about $20. Probably got it faster than if I'd ordered from the store too. The housing is a little smaller than a normal metal pipe but it wasn't a major difference and was a tight fit with the tape. I supported it from the ceiling because it has a little weight to it but that's a good thing. It actually looks nice, too bad it's mostly covered by the other ducts. Love the fact that it has a speed control on it, makes it more adjustable. It's not just 3 settings, it has "off" and all the way up to high is incrementally adjustable. It pushes some serious air. Without it attached to the duct work, it seemed like it was pretty loud on high but with it attached, it's no louder than the furnace. I also got a BN-LINK Heat Mat controller because the one at the store looked old, clunky and awkward. It was also more expensive. So I got that and it works great when the furnace is on and turns off when the furnace turns off. I'm happy with the setup and the price. Tenants love it because it makes that bedroom and bathroom warm like the rest of the house. Sorry for the long post but I like to give credit for a good product and show how I ended up using it.

Sturdy yet weak air flow, little bit loud.
Sturdy yet not as much air flow as expected, and bit louder too.

Well built and moves a lot of air.
Good, solid construction. Moves a lot of air. The fan itself is no joke, so if you use it to vent a grow tent like I so you may want to cover the outlet with mesh. My only (minor) gripe is that there are only three available speeds instead of a potentiometer you can dial in more precisely.

6 years of nearly constant use and it's STILL going. This is 100% the fan to get for your tent.
This is a long term review. I purchased this in 2020 and it's been running pretty much non stop since. That's 5-6 years!!! I like the metal construction, perfect for an exhaust for my 4x4 tent and 3x3 tent at the same time keeping temps nice and cool. Relatively lightweight and the perfect size for the standard grow tent. Easy install, just turn on. My only "gripe" would be the adjustable speed dial. I can really only get two fan speeds out of it. it's full blast, medium or off. No matter how much I fiddle with the knob. 6 years and going strong. I'd absolutely order this again. Although I'm hopeful it keeps working for another 6 years.

Good while it lasted!!😪
The product was exactly what the ad presented, size, colour, easy to install, etc. Installed it a couple days ago, was great! Quiet, speed adjustment....and today it just quit. Not sure if it iver heated or what...no burned wires or smell...nothing...just stopped working! I will be returning it and expecting a complete refund! Disappointed! **UPDATE ** After contacting AC Infinity, who were super friendly and helpful saying tgey would ship me out a new fan but have a quality check before they sent it out. I thanked them for offering but I decided to go a different direction for what I had originally purchased the fan for. Long story short...I shipped the fan back to Amazon and received my refund in just over a week. I most likely will give the AC Infinity fan another go in the future!!😊

Burn out after 3 seconds
Plugged in, switched on, 3 seconds and smoke comes out from the fan. Completely dead, so far had to pay £30 to ship it back, waste of money and time, bad experience. Got a German's made, works great. Germany-USA 1-0

Great fan
Great fan only issue is that it came with a US plug. I needed it to have a UK plug. So I had to buy and extra 240v to 110v converter at £25. But it’s a great fan. Using it to power my home made humidifier on my mushroom farm. If it was adapted for the uk I would buy more.

het toestel heeft GEEN 230 volt wat ik verwacht wanneer je in Belgie op de amazon.com.be koopt en door belgische dealer wordt geleverd. klein foutje .... retour is direct aanvaard: wacht op de terugbetaling ....
