This Miracle-Gro perlite has been excellent for improving my potting mixes and soil amendments. I use it primarily for my indoor plants and starting seedlings. The perlite pieces are consistent in size and quality with good porosity for aeration. Mixed into potting soil, it dramatically improves drainage which prevents root rot and overwatering issues. The lightweight nature makes the soil easier to work with and doesn't compact over time. I particularly appreciate using this for succulents and cacti that need excellent drainage. The bag is a good size - enough for multiple projects without taking up too much storage space. The perlite is clean with minimal dust compared to some brands I've tried. It's also great for rooting cuttings and starting seeds since it holds moisture while providing air to developing roots. The enrichment with plant food is a nice bonus. For anyone doing container gardening, houseplants, or propagation work, perlite is essential and this is a quality product at a fair price. Makes a noticeable difference in plant health.

Is as described. Some bags can be a little dusty from granules getting crushed & tossed around in packaging and shipping is to be expected that being said I make my own mix this is my usual item that I will purchase again & again. Works perfectly.

This is the perfect product to mix with soil, coco core, and vermiculite. Especially if your growing roots vegetables like sweet potatoes, carrots, potatoes, and radishes because it helps with drainage while keeping the soil from impacting. Yes, you can use this for your seed starters.

Sure has helped with keeping catus healthy for the long haul. lite weight easy to add to soil mixture. Plants (catus) in soil sand mixture has allowed a healthier, stable growth medium. size is appropriate for approximately 6-7 8" pots in the mixture. Good stuff gives soil a little extra natural appearance.

I have been using this for years now. I mix it in both my indoor and outdoor soil. It's quite expensive, but it's good perlite. If you want to start seeds, get some coco coir bricks, mix it with this, put it in a well-draining tray or egg carton and you are good to go.

Perlite makes your indoor plants soil mix chunky and its good for passing air through soil.. I highly recommend it..

Good for aerating soil. I recommend it for gardeners and have included it in mixing bonsai soil.
