Since I have been professionally engaged in installation for more than 30 years, I want to emphasize that this is the best option for pulling a cable in a metal hose (especially if you work on a deal where the speed is directly proportional to the salary) Of course, fiberglass or fiberglass is lighter and more electrically safe, but over time it twists , the upper braid peels off and. etc., becomes unusable. This one is made of stainless steel, it can overcome small congestions if you pass the hermetic seal (and this is at least 6 meters, when the ant will not crawl through.) Withstands heavy loads, increases your performance several times without effort, since this tool is thought out to little things, and most importantly it will be enough with a careful attitude for more than a dozen years !!!

Overall the fish tape seem fine. It rolls and unrolls smoothly, and if it doesn't rust it will be worth the premium over a regular steel version.My gripe is the "laser etchings", which for me was the feature that made me opt for this product. They are hard to read, but worst of all they are "descending" from the end of the tape. Why do I care how much tape is still in the reel, I want to know how long a run is or how much farther I have to pull.Example. Feed the tape down the line, the end (starting point) is 125', the side close to the reel reads 76' do a little math, to find out it is a 49' run.Useage Update: The curled end tip broke off mine, had to bend a new one.

At time of review this was £78, which seems to be the average price since launch.This product comes in a thin plastic bag only with no box or other protection. It is clearly designed to be sold on a shelf/rack.This is a huge improvement over my old wirepuller, and is an excellent piece of ergonomic design. Here are the things I appreciated the most; it is uni-directional, so it stays straight over even maximum distance, and it is very smooth with a corrosion-resistant coating. It is also easy to pay in/out, with excellent ergonomics in both directions, and light for the length (125ft)I haven’t come across any problems with this product, with the exception being that the end can come out of the reel by about six inches while transporting it. A cover of some sort would have been nice to prevent this, or a simple hook/lock.This is an excellent tool that will save you hours of hassle and swearing. The quality is worth the price.

The media could not be loaded.  I am a data network engineer and often have to use cable rods to pull CAT5 and 6 cables through, often small spaces. I decided to give this a go.Firstly it’s excellent quality, as you can see from my video and pictures the action of the wire is very smooth and can be easily pulled out. So easy in fact you can spin the orange holder and it’ll run out.It’s a very strong wire, thick, maybe just over 1mm thick with a robust hook on the end.This will make work much easier than attaching cables to rods. Also the convenient portable shape of this means it can be tucked next to you in the car and taken easily into sites. It’s also not very heavy, approx 2kgs. The total length is just over 38metres (38.1).All in all a fantastic device for anyone working with cables. Please let me know if this review was helpful.

This is a great fish tape for short wire runs. I have got this a few months back and has been used in my fathers new build house. This Klein fish tape making it easier to handle. It is also much easier to reel and unreel, with a much smoother feel and a lot less force required compared to my old tape. I don't know if it is just because it is new, or because it has no surface rust to make it sticky, but I was impressed by how easy it was to use. I have a couple of polymer tapes, and the action on this is just as smooth. Plus this is all metal, so there will be no issues with losing the leader. If you should break the hook, just heat the end with a propane torch to anneal the metal and bend a new one. If you are in the market for a new fish tape, I recommend taking a look at this one. In other words its fantastic fish type. Highly recommend.

Klein is an electrical industry standard! They made this fish tape with quality parts. I have used it in the field to pull wire through conduit with multiple elbows in it. It went extremely smooth surprisingly. Not only that, but I have used it at home in order to run wire through my walls. Again, Klein made it extremely easy with this fish tape!
