Embark Pets Dog Harness, Illuminate Reflective, Medium, Blue, No-Pull

This is the second harness that I own and was very excited to try it out. It took me a while to figure out how to adjust the harness and put on properly. Prior, I had a very simple and cheap harness that was a quick clip and go, but that just didn't last long. I enjoy a simple leash and collar combo, but my dog gets very excited when we go on walks and pulls from time to time, so a harness is a must. The harness is very sturdy, well-designed with a beautiful blue color, fits well, and reflective all around for safety. During the day the reflective is very vibrant and much brighter during the night. The illuminate harness has the clip towards the back (instead of the front) where the leash attaches to making the leash seem further back. Overall, I love the quality and will be using the harness often!

I'm a big fan of embark's products. My dog uses the matching collar (fantastic) and we also have the adventure harness (great quality but maybe too hot for summer). I bought this to have a second harness, and one that would be better for hotter months. The reflective quality is impressive, and the adjustments are very easy to do. However, I'm only giving 4 stars because of a criticism I have of the design that I'm also suggesting a remedy for below. If your dog is not always cooperative with stepping into a harness or with having it pulled over their head, them this one is not for you. The head part is less bothersome than the stepping through for putting it on or taking it off. My long term, design improvement suggestion to embark would be to add a second buckle clasp to the chest/back and then make the leash attachment stationary so that it doesn't drift from side to side as it does in the current design. That would then make this a streamlined version of the adventure harness that would slip over the head and buckle around the belly without needing to get your dog to step through the harness.

Overall, this harness is really well made and durable! I love the reflective material on it since I take my dog on walks early in the morning and at night. I ordered a size large, but I think a medium would have fit him better. It fits great around his body, but a little loose around the neck. He seemed comfortable walking in it and it looks nice on him!

Excellent quality! Stitching, material, buckles, everything top notch. Lunchbox is a barrel chested cattle dog/German shepherd mix - I've returned or donated several harnesses for fitting weird, but to be fair, my dog is weirdly shaped with a lot of loose skin around the neck. The lower strap isn't snug against his armpits, which I love! The fit is perfect and he walks like a gentleman in this harness. It's a big yes from me, especially for this price!!

I love this harness!!!. I bought it when my beagle Tucker was about 5 months old. I bought it so the measurements were just a tad to big for him ( not big enough that he'd slip out) just so that if he grew it would hopefully adjust big enough to last longer. Anyways I bought the medium size. And it was like I said a tad big but within a week or two he grew right into it and we even had to adjust it bigger in only a short time lol. I love the blue color and it's very sturdy. My Tucker wasn't much of a puller when we fist got it but now that he 9mo old he pulls a lot more. I do a safely check every time before we go outside just to make sure it's not ripped, loose, or torn. I am very happy with it. He never fought us on putting it on and now doesn't want it taken off lol. Reflectivity works great. Easy to put on and take off. It's still holding strong after 5 months of continuous use. My dog is now 32lbs and it still fits well with plenty of room to adjust if needed. I will definitely buy again.

It's a nice harness, but just expect it to be tight around your pupper. I got a small for small dogs and they don't fit. I'm leery about getting the next size cause I really dislike adjusting harnesses and having loops sticking out. Another negative thing is the measurements they give are only for the chest, not the neck. I will also say the harness is very stiff, which may make it uncomfortable for the dog, as we as more difficult to put on. I will give the company credit though for making a nice harness, that is actually in 1 piece. Too often dog harnesses have multiple pieces that fall apart and take too long to put on. They also answered my question about that quickly.

Really wanted a pink harness for my girl but since they were sold out in small, I ordered the blue. The color is a beautiful turquoise and great for both sexes. The material is super sturdy and the width is great. Very easy to adjust the neck and chest dimensions. Since I just got the harness, it is a little stiff which I really like and I am making it looser on my girl as it is so secure as it is. Can't think of anything negative about this product.

This is a really sturdy but light weight harness, with a matching collar available, which we also bought. It’s a lovely colour and as reflective qualities which will come into their own hopefully as the winter rolls in and it becomes darker in the mornings and evenings. We went for large and it fits both our Labrador and our German Shepherd. Putting it on is easy, straight over their head and one clip and it’s on. A decent strong ring on the back for clipping your leash to. We also have the Embark Adventure harness, this model is quicker to put on and weighs less, but doesn’t have the big handle on the back like the adventure harness. I think we’ll be using this one on “town walks” in the evenings where car headlights will make this stand out and make us more visible.

I bought this because I wanted a lightweight harness for the summer. The last one I bought was too big (even though I bought the suggested size) so I was a bit wary of buying yet another. However it fits well, the dog’s happy and it seems not only lightweight but sturdy and well made. As others have said it is quite stiff but this doesn’t bother my dog and it may soften with wear. Another bonus is that the harness is easy to slip on and the fastening clip is easy to open. I would recommend it.

Love the colour and reflection on this harness, is very stiff which I worry is uncomfortable for my dog. Nice and sturdy though and trust it will last well, hoping as my dog grows and I can make the harness larger it won’t feel so stiff.

I've found it difficult to find a harness that will fit my dog comfortably before as he is a small dog with a rather deep chest which means he is often too big for a Small but too small for a Medium. This harness fits him really well and he actually lets me put it on him rather than running away with his previous ones! It's easy to put on, just slip it over his head and slide his leg through the loop and clip it up. The lead loop is on the cross section of the chest loop strap and the vertical back strap. It's a dark grey metallic loop that looks really nice with the blue of the harness. There is also a circle metal piece at the front of the harness where the sections gather that could hold an I.D tag or you could even clip your lead on there. My favourite thing about this harness is how reflective it is. In most conditions it just looks like a normal harness but in certain light and street walking at night it really stands out and it makes me feel more comfortable that my dog will be seen by cars etc.

Sturdy material and fittings on this reflective harness. Size Medium is perfect for both my pugs aged 7 and 1 years old. The older pug has more rolls so harness needed slight adjustment to fit. My younger pug who is much slimmer with smaller rolls needed no adjustment the harness fit as is. The fittings are secure and I’m really happy with purchase. They look smart and incredibly cute 💖💖🐷🐷 A few months into wearing them, they do leave pink dye on fur when worn in rain! So we have pink pugs (pigs)
