The unit works fine and installation is almost easy.But power supply/control box with buttons on top is European wiring standard.If you want to just mount it on the wall surface - fine. But if you want it in the wall -tough luck.You'll need custom electrical box, and custom faceplate. Or order both items from Europe.Shipping won't be cheap.So - if selling device is the US, it would be nice if mounting hardware would be US wirings standards compatible.

Susan was extremely helpful in her assistance to resolve my misunderstanding of the operation of the unit and my mistake in having ordered the wrong width unit. The feedback was timely and the resolutions effective. The product works well as a replacement retrofit on my manually operated skylight. A great option to choose when looking for an alternative to the cost prohibitive Tr_th Hardware version. The controls are much more responsive that the other brand and the unit operates much more quietly. This unit is a complete replacement for the operator and motor thus there is not adapter brackets as with the other brand. I will eventually change out my other skylight operator to the same. I look forward to trying and reviewing the sliding patio door opener in the future.

Used this on an Anderson 48X48 skylight. Andersen no longer makes parts for their skylights, or make skylights at all. This worked great! Operates great! Would have gave it 5 stars but the mount was a little weird. Brackets sticking out. I altered these to what I needed.
