I use this for more than protecting vehicle paint.Pro- it's simply to use comes with everything you need to get started. The instructions are easy to follow. It goes a long way. Dries at a reasonably rate.Con - the smell is strong soooo ... need a well ventilated area. Should not be applied in cold temperatures sooooo not snowy winter time unless you have access to a heated garage. This is a summer or fall project.It works well, better than I expected. I coated my shovels and snow scoops and the snow slips right off even sticky snow. A friend used it to coat the inside of his snow blower and the snow and slush doesn't build up which it makes it so easy to clean. I'm thinking of trying it on the rain gutters.

Product came in a very nice package containing gloves, applicator sponge and cloths, and polishing rag. Very easy to apply and buff off. Car is shining nicely. A couple observations:1. As others have said, prep - I washed and clay barred the whole car thoroughly before applying. I used dish soap by the way when washing, to try and remove as much wax or anything oily as possible (most "car soaps" are designed NOT to remove wax... In this case, you want to.)2. This is a refreshing change from waxes which, while effective, are messy to apply and leave residue in hard to clean places. Wax can also discolor and stain plastic trim...this does not give you that issue. Which leads to...3. This product, as a bonus, is great for restoring plastic trim on the car! Makes it black and shiny again and does not seem to fade quickly like other plastic trim restore products.Will report back if I notice any issues over time!

This product ia a great value for the money. I followed instructions and completely clay bared the car. Putting it on was straight forward, using products supplied with the kit - application sponge, gloves and buffing towel. 4 months after application I had to have the windshield replaced. When they tried to use painters tape it would not stick to the hood of the car! The Installer asked me if the car was ceramic coated? I said yes. Great shine, easier to keep car clean. Definately recommend this product.

Works ok if you follow the manufacturer instructions.

I purchased this on a whim to try out on my tundra as it was the first new vehicle I’ve had in my life. It’s a truck that gets treated like one and has only been washed a few times in the four years I’ve owned it. I thoroughly washed it with dawn dish soap and it had never been waxed before. I polished the swirls and scuffs out with a Milwaukee polisher. It went on smooth and looks AMAZING! I can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner. I will be ceramic coating my wife’s Escalade now that I know it works.

This is a great kit that gave me good results I spaced the prepwork out for this over two weekends so I wouldn't be rushed. I did all my scratch repair, polishing, swirl removal, claying, etc the weekend before and just did a final wax removal, wash and dry before applying this weekend. The kit includes everything you need for the ceramic coating, and it looks great afterwards. Hopefully the winter weather is almost done for the year. I have some coating left & I'd like to do my lawn mower just for the heck of it!

The first coat I didn’t noticed that much of a difference in the gloss so I waited about 3 hours and applied another coat, second coat much glossier

I love this ceramic coating! It was incredibly easy to put on! I did my car and my wife's SUV and only used half the bottle! The shine on the car my amazing! (first 3 pics). You can clearly see how clear the reflection is.The last 3 pics are what the car looked like after driving thru a few days of rain. Not going to say it didn't need washed, but it's clearly cleaner than what you'd expect a black car to look like after driving in the rain.
