Affordable Analogman King of Tone in a sharp-looking package
As with many items in Caline's pedal line-up, the High Chief OD/Boost offers classic, sought-after tone at a price that's easy on your wallet. The High Chief offers a transparent overdrive with volume boost to help push you above the mix, which is great for laying down a lead line or solo. The sound emulates a smooth, tube distortion with low to medium breakup. Aside from its affordability and sound, this pedal has got good looks with a snappy orange housing and green led lights within the knobs. The High Chief is a great addition to anyone's pedal board.

It’s ok…
Maybe I just stink at guitar? Idk 4 stars?. It works and sounds good. Maybe I should practice more? For the price it’s good. Well built and no noise besides my bad playing. Once I get better I might bump it up to 5 stars.

Sounds great.
Sounds good. I did adjust the dip switched on the inside. Set them both to overdrive. It has the same kind of circuit as the king of tone, but it’s def not an exact match. But it is a good budget alternative. The only negative is that one of the foot switches broke within the first week.

Dis Ting Rad.
Seriously. This pedal is great. I love finding affordable pedals like this that punch way above their weight. It’s always a fun jab at the cork sniffer Praise and Worship and player crowd. 40 bucks or so and you can have sweet saturated overdrive and a killer boost all in one pedal. It’s almost based on the King of Tone but it’s really its own thing. Just buy it. You won’t be sorry.

Not a KOT clone but close
If you ever played a King of Tone (or a Prince of Tone) the real "magic" comes from what the pedal does to your guitar EQ-wise. Regardless of OD or distortion settings, It removes some of the lowest and low-mid frequencies, cleaning up your sound. The High Chief does NOT to that. But it is an all-around great sounding bluesbreaker style overdrive. I actually prefer the Caline Orange Burst better.

I Love It!
How I first heard of this pedal was on facebook. I don't know if it was an ad but I saw a video and it sounded really good and cheap enough to give it a try. Initially I liked it very much with my digital amps; a solid clean but crunchy extra drive when needed. It's hard to explain. And then I tried it with a tube amp. This little jewel is making my Marshall's scream. It's not a high gain pedal but I would call it a right gain pedal. Very highly recommended if you're looking to drive an amp to get AC/DC like tones.

Amazing drive. No one will know it’s a budget pedal.
Replaced a $250 dual drive pedal with this guy. Super versatile. The right side is a boost and the left side is a drive. Sounds amazing. All knobs light up when on. Pretty cool. The only downside is the terrible art work.
