They get blue stain on your fingers.
These tablets work, but they take a little while to dissolve and they get blue stains on your fingers. After this bottle is done I am going back to the powder form that you squirt from the bottle. It's cleaner and disolves instantly.

Does What It Says On The Tin
They do exactly what you'd expect. Drop them in water and wait a while and the water turns blue. Great for preventing drug testing adulteration.

Good for Blue Man Group auditions, bad for leak detection
I bought a half dozen bottles of these Rapid Blue tablets for my plumbing technicians. We regularly use dye tablets or food coloring for diagnosing toilet leaks and flow problems. These dissolved reasonably well in a toilet tank, they weren't anything special relative to the homemade alternative of blue food coloring from a local grocery store. Here's the problem: picking up a container of these little Satans will make you look like Tobias Funke in S2E1 of Arrested Development. When my order arrived, I took my bottles of Rapid Blue out and set them on my desk without opening the bottles themselves. I started working on my computer! It didn't take long for me to notice that much of my keyboard and fingers had turned a deep blue. After attempting to remove as much blue as I could from my hands, I donned a pair of nitrile gloves and, like a nuclear technician moving radioactive material, carefully put them down in the sink. I opened up the bottles. I was expecting to see a liquidity mess but instead saw that the tablets were, surprisingly, mostly intact. They were just brittle; a small amount of powder had accumulated at the bottom. So, it appeared that whatever bottles they used to pack these things in were not the right containers. I found no evidence that they were damaged in shipping and it wasn't like there was just one defective bottle. The caps on the bottles themselves don't actually keep the blue in.Save your money and either buy food coloring, another brand of dye tablets, or a liquid dye. Unless, of course, you want to tell someone "I'm afraid I just blue myself."
