CABBAGE SALAD MAKERS REJOICE! After years of hanging on to my last packaged stock of imported Nissin Pre-flavored Chicken Ramen, I final used up my last package last week. Decised to use the mast package making my often requested and fave recipe cabbage salad for my fiancée's grandma's big 95th birthday family gathering. Come the day after I started to panic but thanks to a google search, I was saved by Amazon Prime! This of course is not your typical ramen house type ramen but these pre-flavored instant ramen noodles straight out of the bag are an awesome snack just by itself! Or 3 mins in hot water and you have quick/easy noodles ready to eat! These pre-flavored noodles are especially useful for giving that Asian dressing salad that much needed flavor kick! At $3 a package, this ain't your college budget instant ramen but is still well worth the semi-inflated price!

I grew up eating this 1958 original. My parents used to buy cases of them. Having ordered these a number of times from Amazon, I can attest it tastes just like I remembered. But, being somewhat health conscious, I break it in half to reduce the amount of sodium. I eat it mostly as a chicken consommé, so no worries if half a patty would be filling or not. The broth is delicious. And there’s real chicken; powdered chicken meat and chicken fat. It’s a great cold remedy. My only reservation is how pricey it is in the USA, considering how inexpensive it really is. But it’s worth it for me. It really is a great tasting chicken broth.

When I first started buying these they were a $1.06 a package back in the early 1990s. Outrageously expensive now and they don't have the greatest nutritional value, but I'm hooked.. :-)

This is a one-of-a-kind, Ramen Noodle (the first one marketed, I believe,... 55 yrs ago). The seasoning is already IN the noodles (NO packet). You put the noodles in a bowl, and pour 400ml (`1 2/3 cup) of boiling water on top, w/ or without a raw egg, cover, let set `3 min, garnish (grn onion, chopped hard boiled egg, julienne; cooked, or luncheon meat and enjoy. OR, make a scrumptious salad, add cooked chicken, crumble UNCOOKED noodles on top, and dress w/ Seasoned Rice Vinegar, lightly (make sure U have a shaker top, you can add more after tossing). I've eaten this soup for 40+ yrs, can't seem to find or order it in Northern California, so I already knew I Loved the product prior to purchase. The seller, Livin'Large, was prompt w/ delivery. Brought the noodles cause I wanted some nice chicken ramen to make but it looks like someone dropped kick the package before in came to my door. I don't thinks its mainly Amazon's fault cause these noodles are VERY BRITTLE and can be crushed by applying the slightest bit of force on the noodles. Opening one up shows that the noodles are more akin with noodles you get in the bowls they sell, but again MUCH THINNER. Its a cool product and all but unless you want noodle flavored oatmeal, stick with the cups.

For someone that likes ramen and grew up eating different varieties of ramen, I was expecting more based on the reviews of this product. It tastes exactly like fried Japanese noodle snacks for kids, the kind that is eaten "raw" or unsaturated as a crunchy snack. So, if you like those snacks, the flavor may be to your liking. However, it does not taste like what I would consider closer to authentic Japanese ramen. The flavor is not impressive for me. I would describe it as salty and similar to instant chicken noodle. It does satisfy the craving for a bowl of instant noodles. As stated by other reviews, the flavoring is infused into the noodles so it is convenient in terms of preparation. But, I do find that the noodles tend to break apart into short pieces of noodle and become soggy easily after it's done cooking. For some reason, the noodles absorb the soup so quickly so halfway through eating, I'm lacking most of the broth. This could be because I microwave it in a bowl of water rather than the traditional stove method. I prefer the microwave because it's more convenient and less dirty dishes so I can't compare the two methods. In the end, I think this ramen is not that special and can be dressed up with various toppings, yet the underlying flavor is that of regular instant noodles. It's okay, but not great.

I used to eat this growing up and when I found this, I had to get it. It is 3 times more expensive than what it is in Japan but I got them. they are so yummy! Make sure to crack an egg in the center before pouring hot water and cover with plastic wrap to steam.

Not enough info about the product, i thought these noodles have 3 spice sachets inside each noodles, but unfortunately not, just biscuit noodles only, so for nearly £15 just for 5 biscuit noodles when they are normally 50p-75p each in the shops is expensive. bought these in haste thinking they were 3x5 noodles package with 3 spice sachets noodle version.... not 5 biscuits only for £15! Otherwise, the noodles itself is the crispy fried type and seasoned, quality is good as expected from Nissin.

Muy ricas las sopas. Me llegaron desde hace unos días pero en mi app de amazon aun dice que está en camino. Sólo arreglen eso. Por lo demás, una delicia de sopas y a muy buen precio. Gracias.
