LOTS of wire gives you plenty mounting options. the camera has a mini connector that makes it easy to run the wire thru the car. i was able to go from front bumper all the way to a door fender rubber penetration with the mini connector then with the extender wire i took it all the way to the dash. the quality is pretty good, am currently using it as a blindspot peeker, to see oncoming cars to my left. Line of sight is usually blocked off by parked cars. Have it hooked up to the turn signal via some relays and an opendsh pi5. overall an amazing product which solves a problem i been having for quite a while now

This was a painless install for my 2009 Scion xB with an aftermarket Hizpo Android Head Unit! The installation directions were clear and easy to follow. The viewing angle isn't as wide as other cameras but I think the 140 range is ideal for a backup camera as to minimize the fish eye effect. The picture is perfectly clear in daylight and very visible and usable at night (*my upgraded led reverse light from Alalighting helps a ton!) I followed another user tip and added a silicone sealer to the rear hole, middle ring, and camera ring with as best as I could (I recommend using a q-tip) to help prevent future moisture and hazing. I realized during my install that I probably could've gone with the smaller minimal camera design that could screw in vertically in my door hatch for a more stealthy/OEM look. (live and learn 😅) If you're setup can support the smaller design with minimal fuss, I say go for it! All in all, I have no qualms in recommending this camera. It's a super solid value overall!

Just after two months, the image quality took a nosedive. It gradually became blurry, rendering the camera nearly useless. This decline in quality was not due to any external damage or mishandling on my part, but rather seems to be an inherent flaw in the product.I am extremely disappointed with the longevity and reliability of this camera. A backup camera is a crucial safety feature, and it's unacceptable for it to fail in such a short span of time. I had expected better durability and performance, especially considering how well it started off.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product based on my experience. It may look good initially, but be prepared for a possible quick decline in image quality. If you're looking for a durable and reliable backup camera, you might want to consider other options. I have used this camera in my jeep Patriot for about 8 months now and no problems at all camera is off good quality for the price,I will buy again.

Very well thought out kit. Included absolutely everything needed to install it. The optical quality is great and it provides serveral different mounting options, so it will work with almost any setup. These guys also have fantastic customer service! When I was a bonehead and routed my coax cable too close to my headers it melted. I emailed them and they sent me a new cable free of charge! They didn't have to do that, they could have charged me, but they went the extra mile. Will definitely be buying again for future installs.

I purchased this camera 6 months ago. I spent more for this particular camera as opposed to others thinking I’d be getting a bullet proof, crystal clear image day or night. I’m highly disappointed in this purchase due to the picture quality. I read the other reviews and it seems that the picture quality is great… at first. The camera is NOT waterproof and when condensation sets in, the overall image becomes blurry. This presents a safety hazard and should be addressed by the company.

This is a decent camera for the price. My first one was defective and had water ingress, but customer service was fast to replace it. Will update if it also develops a leak. Otherwise the picture quality is acceptable for a backup camera. The night vision works decently well light wise, but has a noticeable drop in framerate. So the night vision seems a little stuttery. But at this price point you can't expect high quality night vision. It does the job, can't complain. Update: I have had the second in place now for a little while and it too has gotten water into it somehow. I will have to find another unit. Knocking off one star because of it. Its only poking out of a hole in the back of my trunk so not sure why it keeps getting water, but guessing it just isn't sealed well. Update: I have now used three of these. Unfortunately the third one I installed is blurry. The quality control on these units are hit or miss. Sadly I have a hole that fits this camera perfectly that I do not want to drill any bigger, so I am stuck cycling through replacements until one works. The camera itself is not water proof. The wire that goes into the back of the unit is not water tight at all. Mine isn't even exposed to moisture (it's enclosed) but it seems like the temperature differential between the front part that is exposed to the elements and the inside part causes condensation to form on the lens. To fix this issue they need to make the wire coming out water tight as well.

I installed the camera in the front of a 2019 Dodge Ram to allow a 360 Camera system ; front, sides, and rear of the vehicle. I really like the fact it has a small size MINI 4PIN connector to allow easy instillation through the firewall to the video head unit. I tested the camera prior to installing it using an old TV with a RCA Video input to ensure it was NOT DOA. This saved from me from potentially installing a defective unit, it worked like a charm and this is a great little camera. The ONE drawback was the "sturdy and solid tungsten carbide tip hole saw" included. The bit snapped almost immediately when drill hit the metal backing on the Ram. Having said that I did contact Amazon customer support as I needed to complete the project and they shipped me a complete kit and I returned the defect bit with the replacement unit. I didn't contact the seller as I need to finish the project and this was the quickest turnaround method. I will be adding one additional camera for the rear of our camper so I can monitor traffic and us it for safely backing it into camp sites. Nice little camera.

The creators of this package tried to think of everything, even a roll of electrical tape. Well done. Used it for a forward camera and adjusted the length of the ground wire and the trigger wire by the RCA plug. Works fine. For an inexpensive camera it does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'm happy with the price, the quality and the amazingly thorough instruction sheet and photos. Excellent product.

Camera works well. I used the drill bit that came with it to drill the hole in my tailgate handle larger and the camera replaced the OEM camera that does not plug into my android radio. Works well but the angle it is on limits my view to 10 feet behind the vehicle. If I mounted it straight over the license plate or something like that I would have a better view of my surroundings. So I recommend mounting it horizontally down lower and not on an angle. The camera itself functions beautifully, clear view and clear enough to back up my truck at night with limited street lighting.

Just like others wrote in the comments, Extremely helpful seller, goes out of the way to help you. They stand back on the warranty of the product as stated in the product description. Product quality is good. Unlike other cheap brands the material used is highly quality. And you will get all the items that will be required for the installation. It’s worth spending 10$ extra on this product then to buy those cheap alternative cameras.

Instructions for installation are obviously poorly translated Chinese.. not easy to follow.. camera works ok, but has some video lines when on.
