Q: Hamacher-Schlemer sells this unit and states that it automatically comoensates for tape stretch. Does it?

It is a good unit. It is a bit odd to operate. The controls seem to be laid out peculiarly. It plays tapes well, I have not recorded a CD yet. As far as the tape play end, It's good ,but, not audiophile quality. I don't know if it compensates for tape stretch, but, it does seem to play a range of old cassettes pretty well.

Q: does this product have rca inputs. and can it record from a mix board?

Q: I recorded on a TDK music cd it will play in other cd players, but it won't play in my JVC cd player.

Wish I could say a lot of good things about my recorder but as yet I've not gotten a CD that will play elswhere! Love to talk to you aboit yourrecorder! I'm at (360) 734 - 5295 Maybe together we can get the results were looking for?

Judy, I recorded my first CD when I got the recorder and tried to play it on another CD Player and it would not play so I looked again at the Manuel and noticed on Page 36 that I had to Finalize it when it was through recording. I did this and I didn't have any more problems. Hope this helps. Joyce
