Product does work very good... I'm pleased
I bought this wireless device for my parents to use with their new laptop. But before I took it to them, I tested it just to see how well it would work in my home in case I want one later. It did a very good job. My desktop PC that I connected the transmitter to is in one of the front bedrooms and the PC sits on a completely open spaced upper shelve (PC sits above my monitor) and the PC is also positioned in that room in such a way that if you stood in line of sight with it you would just barely be able to see out the bedroom door (at a sharp angle), down the very short hallway and into the open living room area where the TV is located just around the corner wall. So even tho the PC is sort of or barely in line of sight with the living room, the PC and TV itself is not in direct line of sight from each other. And I would say the approx. measurement distance between the two is about 25 feet or so. And the device was able to transmit the signal to that TV. I could tell though that I was stretching the signal very close to its limits, because when I would move the mouse around fast on the screen, the video would start getting choppy some. And if I placed the receiver very far at all inside the TV cabinet (which is an open front cabinet) then the signal would start getting very touchy, going in and out completely. So I figured if I bought one for me later then I would just place the receiver on the outside of the TV cabinet on the side of the hallway. And I think it would work out just fine. If I remember correctly I thought I remember seeing that the transmitted signal displayed a lower resolution tho, That far away I don't think it was transmitting full 1080p. But for the distance I had it and the fact that it wasn't directly in line of sight, I'd say it did pretty good. And to me the picture still look pretty good on the TV. It worked great on my parents setup because their laptop and big screen TV are used about 8 to 10 feet away from each other, so of course the signal was excellent. And I didn't experience any video lag on either my parents setup nor on my setup at home. So thats good. There was a point at my parents tho that for some reason the sound wasn't being transmitted to their TV. But after I investigated further it turn out to be an audio driver issue off their PC, which I fixed by re-installing their Intel Graphics HD audio driver from their PC manufacture. So overall I am very pleased with it and may later get one for myself.

Nyrius ARIES - works great, no hassle plug-n-play
Among several options for wirelessly connecting our laptops in a small office to a 70" wall-mounted flat screen, we tried this Nyrius ARIES system (we also tried a WIDI transmitter and wireless direct connect to a projector). This thing works wonderfully. Plug it in, it immediately connects to the TV with no setup. We usually have our laptops in "extended screen" mode so that resolution is maximized on the big screen. It's completely responsive, no delay in video or moving the mouse on the screen. It is, quite simply, a wireless replacement for an HDMI cable. When someone else wants to project, we just pass the dongle around. We also use an adapter for the few laptops that have a DisplayPort instead of standard HDMI output, and I'm going to buy a couple more HDMI adapters for visitors that have mini-HDMI or other video outputs. Bottom line, this thing works great, we love it.By the way, the WIDI adapter we have (NetGear Push2TV) is much less elegant of a solution. You have to run a small app on the laptop, tell it connect to the TV, and it's lower resolution and very low responsiveness to mouse movement, making it nearly impossible to work on the large screen. (Videos do play just fine, though.) Separately, I bought a Google ChromeCast to try and that is even more limited, it only works for watching videos on Netflix and Youtube, and marginally can display a Chrome browser window.

Great idea, poor execution. Cannot recommend it to anyone.
I have bought the product hoping it will allow me to send video signal without the wires. I really was excited to read about its specs and could not wait to get it to work. Unfortunately, the unit did not live up to the expectations. This is my reasons for giving it a rating of 1. I strongly urge manufacturer to address these points if they are to continue to sell the product.1. The video mysteriously cuts off whenever anyone in proximity opens their Mac and/or tries to use internet. It seems like Wi-Fi interferes with operation of this adapter, causing frequent disconnects lasting from 20 seconds to minutes anytime you or your neighbor down the street tries to use W-Fi.2. You need to power the adapter by having a mini-USB to USB cable plugged into your MAC and then into the HDMI wireless adapter. This presents a challenge, since the HDMP adapter is very large and blocks USB port near HDMI port on Mac, meaning that I have a USB cable running from left side of my MAC to the right side where HDMI adapter is plugged in. Makes the computer very bulky3. HDMI adapter does not fit snuggly into MAC HDMI port, or even PC HDMI port, and is easy to displace with a slightest of movement. This will instantly disconnect the video and will take 30 seconds to reconnect4. We have noticed a tendency for HDMI adapter to start disconnecting more frequently after it has been in use for more than 3 hours.5. It does not look like it auto-negotiates the Wi-Fi channels, or at least does not do it often enough. Despite numerous disconnects, it continues to try to connect on channel 11 and channel 4. ALWAYS.6. At a range of 10 feet you have strange snow frequently appear on the screen from time to time, making it unusable for watching movies7. The unit came without a USB to mini-USB cable, and one of the rubber legs on the receiver station was detached.8. Is it certified for use in U.S? It sure seems to be affected by any sort of powered device nearby, making me think it is causing a lot of interference as well I would expect this issue to be absent in the devices with FCC certification.9. HDMI receiver station is made out of cheap plastic, and is half empty inside. HDMI station is too light and ends up half dangling from HDMI cables from TV making it look very unappealing. Why have a big and half empty box if it cannot be secured on the countertop? Either make it a small dongle or make it heavy enough to sit normally on the table!10. Sometimes unit would just go into standby mode in a middle of watching a movie, disconnecting the video and we would need to walk to TV, turn off and turn the unit back on. What is the point of wireless video if we are forced to stand up from the couch and walk to the TV every 20 minutes? We bought it because it was the cheapest option on the market, and after a month of fiddling with it, trying to get it to work, we are forced to look for a different adapter. Cannot recommend it unless company can come up with the way to address the issues listed. Also, very concerned with the emission levels and whether they fall within FCC accepted ranges. Hoping company will reply regarding this issues in more than standard “thank you for your feedback”.

Waste of money!
Such a disappointment and waste of money. I have botched someone's wedding livestream because if this. It tests fine in a small room but any more than 5 meters it cuts out. It's a complete waste of money and false advertised. We've tested it multiple times and same thing very poor signal and constantly drops connection over 5 meters.

Doesn’t work for me...
The signal looks compressed and there is much interference with WiFi network (sometimes RX and TX doesn’t connect).

Muy buena calidad de streaming
Muy buen equipo, estoy fascinado con la calidad del streaming y el alcance, al parecer el alcance es mucho mayor de lo que se especifica.
