Great tool for ladder and roof safety. Just be aware that it has to actually be bolted to the roof to be considered OSHA compliant.

This is very heavy duty. I have yet to use it, but it is very heavy duty in the hand. He not had to stop my fall yet, and hopefully never will have to, but it is nice knowing that I have a tie on should the need arise.

I am an insurance adjuster and this thing is a life saver. It doesn’t come with a pole but I bought the longest one from Home Depot and drilled out the hole for the pin. Works great and I have used it on 10/12 and 12/12 pitch roofs. The only drawback is you have to be able to reach the ridge with it. For me if it’s more than 18 feet from the ladder, I can’t reach the ridge. That issue is with the pole, not the Ridge Pro.

Unit was heavy, hard to get up roof, and would not clear the tall ridge on my metal roof.
