The size of this container makes finding a space to keep my dogs' food so much easier to deal with. We have two dogs and have to buy the 26 lb bags. We used to put the food into smaller countertop jars, but filling them from this huge bag was always such a pain - my husband and I would try to wait each other out so that the other would have to do it. With this container, it's easy to pour two bags in at a time. Plus, the twist top makes sure that not only my dogs stay out of it, but any pests or insects that might be attracted to the smell of their chow.

We first purhcased one of these for an off-label use case - decanting XL bags of deicing salt into to store on the porch for easy access during winter weather. They do a great job keeping moisture out so our salt doesn't clump and lasts a season. We've had it for several years now, but my husband ordered it on his account.Since then, we've started caring for some neighbood strays with TNR in mind. We have a whole routine to provide for them, which includes kibble (different than what we feed our indoor cats). We bought another one of these to store their large bags of kibble on our back porch - no issues with moisture or pests. Add a scoop and voila, our workflow for taking care of them became much easier.Finally, we started feeding the birds to give our indoor cats some enrichment. We buy these gigantic 40lb bags of seed, which fit great into these vaults. The seed is kept dry and safe. I store that on the front porch too, and using it is part of my morning routine.

Only had it a week but no ants have been able to get in it. My daughter climbs on it all the time. It's very sturdy and well made. Closes tight but still easy to open when we need to. The only negative is that it says 50lbs but when i poured my dogs 46lb bag of food into it it just barely fits. So its a bit smaller then it says.

Funny what impresses us but I love this container. It is made of solid material and it works perfectly! It keeps the dog food fresh and the insects out. I love how easily the top screws on and off. It doesn't bind but twists smoothly always gives a good seal. After using one for over a year I just bought another one because our dogs now eat different food. Same quality and ease of use!!

Love it! Wanted something I knew would keep the dog food clean, dry and critter resistant. Doesn't take up much space and cheaper on Amazon! Going to get some letters cut out and put my dogs name on the side with a few paw prints just to personalize it.

Holds a lot of dog food and keeps the food stored fresh - the lid can be a bit frustrating to spin back on but overall, great product! Great enough that I ordered 2 more! Have not had any issues with ants or bugs creeping in; very heavy duty

I buy to 40 pound bags of dog food and needed a place to keep it fresh. This one is perfect! It seals up to keep the ants out and keeps the food fresh. I can still smell it when opening after weeks of adding a new bag of food.

Works great, keeps bugs out and food fresh. I got the 50lb version, very sturdy and well made. You can buy the big bags of food to save $$ and just dump it in ,so much better than trying to feed out of the bags. Great product
