Johnson RosePlastic Bowl and Dough Scraper, 5 1/2 inch-1 each, White

This scraper is very flexible, which makes it very good at scraping bowls of various shapes. But its flexibility is what makes it not good for dough. It is too floppy. It is a shame, if this was just listed as a bowl scraper, I would have given it 5 stars. It is the best bowl scraper I have (as long as what you are scraping is not too stiff or heavy. But this scraper is a 2 star dough scraper, so I had to remove a star. I had originally bought this for scraping dough and I was terribly disappointed and was going to return it. But then I used it for scraping batters from bowls and I was pleasantly surprised. It is nice and big, fits in my well, conforms to any bowl, and easy to clean. It is now my favorite bowl scraper. If I could just find a good dough scraper.

Arrived in a timely manner, well packaged.Looks to be as advertised. A lightweight plastic scraper. May be a bit over priced for what it is.Does measure 5 1/2x3 1/2 flat on one side and rolled edges on the other.Have not used yet but the plan was to use it to scrape the counter and cut bread and pizza dough. Think it will do the trick.

I'm a bit peeved that I paid for something that I could have picked up at many a food fair around SF. That said, this does the job of scraping bowls and dough pretty well. It seems a bit prone to wear when scraping bowls, but I get the feeling this is something that is a general issue with these scrapers. Also bought an ateco, both work pretty well, though they have different stiffnesses.

I use this to help me unstick pie dough after I have rolled it out and am trying to get it into the pie plate. Also helps with scraping up the leftover pieces of pie dough and flour from the surface I roll the dough out on.

I purchased this for use in my kitchen, for my chopping needs. The price was right, and the product arrived promptly. I'm confident that it will serve my needs for years to come!

I had originally left a five star review but I changed it because 3 days after the return window closed it cracked in the middle while scraping pizza dough out of my mixer bowl. This seems like it would be more suitable for light batters, icing, etc etc. Not so good for dough work.

It's cheap, durable, flexible, and absolutely perfect for scraping the inside of a steam-jacketed kettle, the corner of a stubborn hotel pan, or the carbon build-up on a sheet pan.I've heard that it also has some application for baking, but as a Chef I can neither confirm nor deny that rumor.

I use this to scrape the dough out of my kitchen aid mixing bowls. I was a little concerned about the quality when I first got it. It seemed a little thin, but it flexes really when and because it flexes I am able to get the dough out of the mixing bowl. I also use it to cut the dough into pieces and to cut my kids sandwiches.
