This book is a key to your inner world. Take the ride.
I love this book and I have a lot of respect and appreciation for Yogani. Years ago, around 2004-2005 when I was a new yoga teacher, I read this book. I wrote Yogani an email with some questions, and he responded and was so kind and helpful. You know, it's those little things people do that you never forget. As things go, my path took me in other directions and I lost touch with the system and the book. Recently, I re-purchased it and immediately reconnected with the ease and joyfulness this book offers to readers, demystifying yoga and meditation, and making advanced techniques accessible to all. This book focuses on meditation first. That was the most challenging aspect for me in all my years of yoga practice, but this book helped me get over the hump with meditation, providing ways to practice and process the experience that I had never encountered before. Also, the spinal breathing meditation Yogani teaches: that alone is worth more than the price of admission. Talk about a key to the inner world.

Advanced Yoga Practices
Finally, a book that tells it all. I have been meditating for many years. You don't need to pay high costs to learn what is called TM because the same type of method is in this book, plus the advanced methods, and other methods of meditation. It is all here, and all you have to do is read it and follow the lessons. I wish I would have known about this book a long time ago.I highly recommend this book. Excellent information!!

Yogani rules at the AYP site, and this book ...
Yogani rules at the AYP site, and this book is a summation of his Deep Meditation lessons. He takes the newbie progressively farther into a more effective and efficient meditation practice. Every step and part is explained simply, which I really needed. I am not all the way through yet, but am taking things slowly, as he suggests. He is so genuine in his explanations. I imagine that he has studied these techniques his entire life and is offering them to others free, on his site, or in this book.

The only book on yoga you will ever need!
When these lessons first appeared on a Yahoo list, I was intrigued. When Yogani offered more and more excellent material without ever 'playing' the guru, AND also remaining anonymous, I was impressed. Obviously here was a true teacher, with none of the 'politics' that occur when a group of aspirants gather around a master. As the Yahoo list readers grew to over 2,000, Yogani opened a website for all the lessons that now, with some deft edits and additions, has become a superb book. As someone who has read yoga manuals for over 40 years (the first was "Fundamentals of Yoga" by Dr. Rammurti Mishra in 1966), I find the style and suggested practices of this book very accessible, both for the beginner and the more advanced. It's the only book on breathing, energy circulation, chakra-openings and meditation that you will ever need. If I had to choose three books to take to a desert island with me, this would be one. With sincere appreciation, many thanks to Yogani!

The book that changed my life
This book is originally an online series of lessons as a yahoo group which I came across at this crucial juncture of my life and it has been the TURNING POINT of my life.I was like any other common individual with doubts about the truth of the spiritual life doubting whether it is REAL or not. I wasnt sure how to clarify this given the fact that I am regular software professional with 9-5 job and no time to go and search for sages/rushis who would clarify my doubts. I couldnt even leave my regular life for a monastic life either because I didnt know whether it was REAL or not. Even if I go search and find some sage, how would I be assured that he is speaking the truth? Could I question him? Would such a learned person answer my ignorant questions not to mention whether he would have time do so or not. And there is the risk that such spiritual knowledge can be diluted with meaningless religious myths created by some selfish gurus who want dominance. In this confused state what is the solution for a normal person like me? How would I know the truth? Finally the light came in the form of Yogani (the author of this book) and his online lessons. I just cant describe my happiness after I found these lessons. Each and every doubt that I had from childhood about life, god, spirituality has been clarified and still there is a lot I am learning everyday from this great person. This book is a replica of those online lessons with lot more knowledge added to it and written in a detailed form. I am generally the kind of individual who doesnt accept anything if I dont see the proper reason behind it. I promise you that you will never be disappointed with these lessons in this book and the wonderful way they have been put together (without any religious prejudices and with an open-to-question truth). This book will change your life. It has changed my life and it will surely change yours. It is worth its weight in gold. The money you spend in buying the book also will go to charity and useful purpose which is all the more reason to buy it. Dont miss this book. I am indebted to yogani forever for this book and lessons. Thank you.

This book will change your life
I started out with Yogani's lectures individually, starting with deep meditation. This book covers a lot more, including meditation mantra enhancements. It is going to take years to incorporate all of the practices covered by Yogani, and believe me you will know when you are taking on too much. The contents of this book will transform your life, starting with deep meditation. My ability to cope with pressure has improved significantly in the last two months. I cannot wait to see where I am in a year.

One of the best books on yoga
It has all the things you need to get started and progress on your spiritual path. The only downside for me is that Yogani is very discreet about what to expect and where it's all going. For that I'd recommend reading other resources.

Taking it slow...
This is quite a volume and I suspect that most people won't last the course, as a considerable commitment is required, whereas the average attention span nowadays is somewhat short. I purchased the book in 2010, but gave up after some months. I think I was trying to achieve too much too fast. This is totally the wrong approach! Though I don't claim to understand that much about the process, I believe this book can take you to quite a high level of consciousness, and that cannot happen overnight!I have now returned to the practise and this time am taking it slowly. After just a week, I already feel much calmer, have the sense that I am a better person for it. Now, I'm going to take it 'real slow' - I tell myself that it doesn't matter if I don't get beyond chapter whatever! Main thing is that I'm on the right path and going at my own pace. It really does make a difference but also requires a lot of discipline and grit.

Clear and stimulating
I would recommend all of the series from this author. If you have even a passing interest in any of the Yoga disciplines you will discover a mine of clear, relevant, helpful, easy to understand information. What you can do and the reason you do it. Read one and see, you will not be disappointed.

Just brilliant!
The only advanced yoga book you'll ever need - well, others will offer some food for though, but this one contains a complete and straightforward method that takes the reader all the way from the basic level to the most advanced yoga techniques. It is written in a clear style, and doesn't get you lost in jargon or mystical mumbo-jumbo. It has done no end of good to my personal yoga practice - I only wish I had found this book sooner. I heartily recommend it.
