I'm sure I can find another, with customer support if needed.
Nicely made saw with issues.1. A little heavier than expected.2. It takes an Allen wrench to tighten guide not a wing but and its one size larger than the one to change the blade, so you have to carry it in your pocket.( real smart )3. When you pull the trigger there is a hesitation before the blade slowly starts tuning and getting up to speed. I asked the amazon community with no response. Than I asked the seller through amazon with no response. Than I asked support @tack life.net with no response. I am assuming its a DC motor since its variable speed and suppose to be that way, but since I don't know I'm going to try it, but I will probably return since there seems to be no support. This really makes me question the warranty.Update: Tacklife finally contacted me and explained the slow start. Its a safety feature for the motor, but better yet I used it for an entire day cutting 7/16 OSB making a lot of cuts, performed flawlessly, and by far easier and lighter to use than my full size circular saw, far more power than my battery powered circular saw. I had a friend working with me all day and he was so impressed I think he's going to buy one. Make sure you get one with the handle, you don't always need it but its nice to have when you do.

A product that's worth recommending!
Very professional mini saw. For commonly used tools, I recommend using a power cord. I used to have a battery powered mini saw, but when I used it I often found it difficult to work with because of the battery. I'm tired of it and I'm giving up, glad I chose this mini saw, and after a few days of use I'm pretty happy with many of its features. If you need a cut thickness of 1.75'', a straight line or within 90 degrees of the inclined plane, all can be completed as well. You can also adjust the height of the saw. I really like the laser guide function of the saw. It allows you to see straight lines very clearly and it's easier to work. Can be set on the left or right side of the auxiliary handle, when you encounter any one of the obstacles in the working environment, you can switch to the other side. A reasonable design. It is compatible with three different types of blades and can cut different materials. Very practical. It has a dust rap that directs the sawdust in one direction. The blade has a protective cover so that the blade and teeth cannot be damaged or scratched when it is not in operation. All in all, I think this is an excellent saw. For all DIY hobbyist this is a great saw to have!

Perfect for Home Use - Comparable to Big Box Brands Twice the Cost
This model is perfect for my needs - light, in home use. Very versatile for the cost, extra long power cord and the blades are a huge plus.Looked at similar big box store items that were twice the cost due to the expensive batteries. Only issue so far is it’s slightly heavier than those modes and not quite as balanced for one hand use.Definitely recommended for homeowners looking to have a saw for light use - will be good for anything from precision cuts on delicate jobs, to rough breakdown of larger items.

Handy and Powerful
This was my first power saw purchase. I found the instructions rather easy to follow, especially with a YouTube video or two. Set up went smoothly...there are guides and descriptions on the blades to make aure you place it correctly. I would like the scales for.depth and angles to be more visible,I think they're difficult to see. The weight is manageable for a woman, definitely not heavy. It has zipped right through all the wood I've cut. I haven't tried metals or tiles. My only complaint is that the circumference of the handle is too large making it impossible for me to hold in the safety and start the motor with one hand which causes me to start out with an awkward hand placement. I'd prefer it to be thinner at the the hand grip to accommodate smaller hands...or reposition the safety button.

Great tool for do it own project
We are building a entertainment room in our backyard, instead hiring someone to do it. My husband decided to do it himself to save money. So we bought this circular saw to build. This is a great saw. Very strong but not too big. It so precise we never miss any cuts. Cutting wood is clean and nice cuts with smooth edges. The grip of the saw is kind of heavy, but it works fine with my husband. It also came with six blades. It has nice safety features. That’s very important for us, especially we are new to building this project. It’s easy to handle, carry and pack. Its came with long cord, it’s long enough to use it in large room. wouldn’t finish out project with This perfect saw. Great price. Highly recommended to anyone search for great saw like this to finish project on their own.

Probably could have been 5 Stars...
This tool had the potential for being a 5 Star product. However, it is lacking in ergonomics, IMHO. The safety button you have to press in order to engage the trigger switch is almost impossible to reach with the same hand (in my case, right.) I think the body itself could have been made a bit smaller - I can see a lot of daylight when I look inside the motor housing. The motor seems to function very smoothly and the power is quite adequate. It is variable speed (by an adjustment on the back) which I thought would be useful but turns out to be not very much. You need a saw to be turning at a high speed all of the time... at least, I do. So, four out of five stars for a useful tool, although not very ergonomic.

Had to return it
The first time I heard it run I knew I was going to return it. I think the bearings on the blade arbor are bad, or it is missing a washer or spacer on the arbor. The blade moves side to side about 1/16 of an inch. I've had dozens of circular saws in my life, I never heard one sound like this, or have side to side play in the arbor. It is difficult to start the saw with the safety switch in its position. (I think all safety switches are a pain in the ass, I have disabled some of them.) I haven't used the saw except for one cut, since I'm returning it but, it seems to cut all right. It might have been a decent saw if the bearings would have been okay.

wont cut
Read instructions carefully & followed them. Really looking. forward to a saw that would be easier/lighter for me to use. Tried several times to cut a 3/4 inch pine board. It would barely cut...but it did burn the wood & smoke.will see if i can find another brand.
