In 2022 I purchased a Firman T08071, 10000w Tri-Fuel Generator for times when our house loses power. To protect it, I purchased the Firman mfg cover, but was very unhappy with it since I had to completely remove the cover to raise the handle for moving the generator. I researched different weather resistant covers that would protect the generator while allowing ease of access to the controls, handle, fuel tank refill, and exhaust area. I found and ordered the IGAN Pro-Max Wind Resistant cover for 3500w-12000w generators. I received the cover quickly from the seller. Upon receiving the cover, I found the instruction booklet for be very easy to read with pictures showing each stage of assembly. See photos. The assembly was easy and placing the frame, side-wrap around, and top covers on the generator was pretty easy. I attached the metal pipe frame a little loose so the frame can slide sideways or lengthwise allowing for better access when accessing the controls and refueling. The cover has metal loops on the sides and came with four pieces of rope with clips and ground anchors for securing the cover to the ground in windy conditions. The only negative I have is I'll be using the generator/cover on concrete, not anchoring it in to dirt. I have four, #2 lb lead scuba-diving weights and will use them to hold the cover down. The generator and cover will be under a patio cover, so it won't be exposed to a lot of weather, but the cover seems to be built of a good quality material with the seams and edges sewn well for a long life. See photos of manual and assembly steps. If you have a larger portable generator, I recommend ordering this cover and giving it a try on your generator.

This a well-documented and excellent fitting generator cover. Easy to assemble and install as it covers and protects the generator from bad weather and winds.

Likes... the frame comes in several pieces but the instructions were great. It came with extra pieces of fasteners just in case. It fits my duromax 13k perfectly. It's a little bigger than what's needed but that's a good thing. The generator runs very hot. The frame of the cover fits nicely over the generator frame. The side drop to cover the electric panel which is great for rain protection. The other three sides are folded up and out od the way. The handles are easily accessible as well as the gas cap and fuel gauge. I would buy again. Dislikes... the clips for the sides don't secure well when the sides are folded up. It's not a deal breaker. When the sides are folded up, I imagine it's going to catch and hold rain water. It didn't rain while using it for five days but I can see that happening. This is a great purchase. It's easy to put together. Just go step by step with the instructions.

The best running generator cover by far! I really did my homework on this one and I'm super happy with it! If anyone is looking to buy a good quality running generator cover I highly recommend the IGAN one. The assembly directions are the most straight forward and the simplest I've ever seen. I used two tv dinner tables to simulate the dimensions of a generator and had puzzled all of the pieces up in a matter of 50-60 minutes (not bad considering I'm significantly physicallydisabled with not so great hand coordination). I absolutely love how the sides roll up for ventilation and to gain access to the controls and how the top folds up for ease of fueling! A well thought out product---BRAVO IGAN 👏 LAST MINUTE UPDATE---NOW THAT I HAVE IT INSTALLED ON THE ACTUAL GENERATOR. I Wish it was a tad longer, I would like it to go down at least another few inches so that the battery and wheels would be fully shielded from the snow...but oh well nothing that a large bar-b-q cover won't fix during the very snowy winter months. Hence the reason I only give 4 stars instead of 5. Still love the quality of this cover!

Easy to assemble and much "beefier" than I expected, waterproof, and coverage is great. I would recommend this to anyone. While I was not able to "velcro it down" on the handle end of the generator (Generac model - G0080620) because when moving the generator, the handle interferes with it (hard to explain) this didn't matter at all.

In my opinion it is very well made, instructions on how to put it together over your generator are very clear and the material (tubing, connectors, and canvass covers) is excellent. I am so very impressed with the quality of this product and even more so impressed with the exceptional instructions (complete with photos and circles to emphasize what to do and what not to do!) I have an A I-powered 9000 and this cover is sturdy and fits perfectly. I don’t usually write reviews, but this product merits it.

I have a Powerhouse inverter generator and have been looking for a solid cover for some time now. We've tried tarps, makeshift covers or anything simple to protect it. Sure there are several covers on the market, however, many of them are made very cheap. This cover (although pricy) is very well made. The cover's material is the big selling feature. It's well made, thick and seems like it should last some time. The frame is "ok" though. It's nice and lightweight, but the poles are made of very thin metal and the plastic components are tight and easy to crack if you aren't careful with your assembly. A gentle touch is recommended here. Although my particular generator was not on their list of models, it still suits it quite well. As you can see from the photos, there is a decent overlap on each end. This is particularly useful for the exhaust side as it is far enough away to not heat up the material. The control side is still easily accessed and the overlap is helpful here for any larger extensions that you may have protruding. It keeps them covered from the elements. You can easily fold the flaps back down over an extension without it propping up the flap. The top flaps fold up on either side to access your fuel port. I'm lucky that mine is offset and not directly in the center as this cover doesn't allow for easy access to center fuel caps. All the other flaps fold up nicely and are easily secured in place with the included hooks. The velcro is also quite strong keeping everything in line. There is a more expensive version of this cover and after looking more closely the only difference is that it includes tie down ropes and stakes to secure in strong wind. You can easily make your own and save a few bucks. The cover does go on sale once in a while. It is an expensive cover when you compare it to other options out there, however, this one is well made and has several nice touch options that make it worth the price. Overall, if you're looking for a solid cover that will protect your expensive generator from the elements for years to come, this is the one to pick.
