Will this work with dell inspiron 5310 as it has no traditional usb port - can only see the newer c versions?

I don't know, but after 6 mos this mouse is performing poorly - scrolls slowly;;and I've had to put it very close th the USB port. Doesn't have much range.

I live this mouse for the price. I have an 8 year old hp laptop. This works with the laptop, my desktop Mac and my Samsung Chromebook. It's plug and play All you need is a USB port to plug the small receiver into. The receiver conveniently stores in the base of the mouse when you're not using it.
