Angocin Anti-Infekt N is an herbal supplement (film-coated tablets) containing two ingredients: horseradish root and nasturtium herb. The combination of these two ingredients leads to an additive activity. The active ingredients in Angocin are mustard oils (isothiocynates) derived from nasturtium herb and horseradish root. Angocin helps with sinusitis, tonsillitis, respiratory and urinary tract infections. The inactive precursors (sinigrin glucosinolates) from these plants are converted into mustard oils in the upper intestinal tract where they are rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream. This way, the oils exert an antibacterial effect in lungs and kidneys without altering the intestinal flora. Manufactured in Germany. Active ingredients: One coated tablet contains: nasturtium (tropaeolum) powder 200 mg, horseradish (Armoracia rusticana) root powder 80 mg. Excipients: cellulose, iron oxides and hydroxides (E 172), hypromellose, potato starch, macrogol, sodium carboxymethyl starch, colloidal silica, stearic acid, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171). A dose of 2 tablets twice daily is recommended for a treatment duration of 7-14 days. It is not recommended to take Angocin with any Levothyroxine containing medication.
