The Reservoir: A 15-Month Weekday Devotional for Individuals and Groups

I’m only one month in, but this is simply one of the best devotional books I’ve ever read (and I have read many and written one myself!) The combination of quotes, scripture, commentary and thought provoking questions offers deep insights that are already changing my relationship with God. I look forward every morning to picking up this book and digging in. Thank you for this wonderful resource Renovare!

I have loved The Reservoir. What sets it apart from other similar resources is the way its creators have been able to capture deep concepts in very simple and accessible wording. Whether someone is new to the concept of the Spirit's formation of the individual's mind, heart, character, or whether this is familiar ground, this is a rich resource that will inform, encourage, and prompt the reader to connect with God and to keep discipleship to Jesus forefront in our minds. I am not good at creating a daily habit, but the brevity and usefulness of these daily entries helped me to stick with it. The entries are for week days only, so if one gets off-schedule for a day or two it's easy to catch up on the weekend. These entries make great nuggets for teaching and prompting discussion in a class or small group.

I LOVE this book! I purchased several copies to share with friends and ministers in our church. The devotions are well written, inspiring and great helps to discipleship ( or apprenticeship). Get this book, use this book and share one with a friend.

Okay. Not a great devotional. I was expecting more depth. Had I seen the book in advance I would not have purchased.

I have been using The Reservoir for two months now and it has been a fantastic tool in my own spiritual formation. I find it both accessible and carrying some real depth, particularly with the questions it poses. As I wrote, I am early on in my journey through it, but look forward to working my way completely through the book. I have such confidence in it that I purchased three copies to give away to folks in my church who are stepping into new areas of growth and formation.

I love this book, it is the greatest book to use everyday. So uplifting and helpful for everyday.

Love this book. Great way to start the day with questions that keep me thinking. Just enough input but not lecturing.
