Letraset 9.6 Aqua Marker, Twin-Tip, 12-Pack

I was looking for a watercolor type thing, and when using Amazon's search these came up. I was just going to get paints, but these looked interesting, maybe easier. So, I tried them. They aren't bad. You do need to practice with them to get the hang of what they will and won't do. For example, they don't do that nice watercolor wash down a page that Hints & Tips say they do. It will wash a little. It helps to wet the page a little first, but some colors will just sit there. Using the blender may help, but again, not always.So, use these as markers, not as paints. Don't expect them to act like paints, but do experiment with them and have a good time with them. But keep in mind that they are a little expensive for markers, so if you want more of a paint effect, then just get regular watercolor paints instead.

I would not recommend these markers for at least 2 reasons: 1.several of the markers appeared dried out and after shaking a bit I finally got one to start working but the other would not 2. as others have stated this markers are poorly constructed, when I take some of the tops off the marker separates from the body and leaves the ink exposed and has caused a mess. A complement, however, must be made to the seller who replaced the dried out marker without me having to send the whole package back. The manufacturer has to work on the design of this marker and fix it, if they do I would give it a 5 star rating.

Good colour selection, okay blending on what I would consider normal water colour paper. Two major stars off for the pen tip separating from the body of the pen while trying to remove just the cap--making an inky mess if you aren't careful.

A nice variety of colors. Easy to use and I reaaly like the thicknesses of the dual tips. My only complaint is that one of the markers comes apart when I pop off the lid. Oh well it's not a perfect world. For the price I believe it's a wonderful set. Happy creating!

I bought these after trying a few of the Copic markers. I want to let you know that I'm not experienced in doing a lot of blendable color work, but I found that these worked just as well as the Copic. I'm very pleased with these markers.

I love the Letraset alcohol-based markers, but these water-based markers weren't very impressive for the price. the tips frayed quickly, and the ink wasn't very consistently distributed through the marker.

I love this brand of markers but TWICE now Letraset has sent me the WRONG SET!!! The description and photo describes SET 1 but I received SET 2. SO IF YOU WANT SET 1 DONT BUY THIS!!!!! I love the ay the markers work so far using the other ones I have bought, thats my only complaint so far that whomever is in the stockroom is doing a terrible job.

I just received my markers and have been playing with them for a while today. I've had foot surgery so I am making cards and just love these markers. The colors are great and being able to blend with them is something I'm loving and getting use to. I'd recommend this markers and vendor to anyone. Give them a try I think you'll really like them a lot.

These came about two weeks ahead of schedule. They are wonderful, vibrant and wet markers. The water colour effect when used is fantastic also. These pens are quite versatile. I can see myself collecting more shades. One thing to note, the opposite nibs on each pens are slightly different shades of the same colour. This is actually great, in my opinion. Shades, and hilights!

For the most part the markers were fine except for two. One marker leaked into the package a fair bit and another marker had a dried out tip on the large marker end.

Bought as a gift for a friend who enjoys card marking for a hobby. She already has the Letraset Pro Markers but had bought a few of these Aqua Markers to try out. They are excellent for producing a water colour effect especially if you want to blend colours or give that faded look. Good range of colours in this pack and the excellent addition of the BLENDER pen. Recommended use on heavy card stock or water colour paper for best results but can work well on some cheaper / lighter papers. Use with water brushes and results are superb. Colours can be quite strong so only use a little ink and blend with pen or water. Excellent service from seller and arrived within expected time frame. Ideal starter pack for those wanting to add colour to their pencil sketches while out and about for a days drawing.

I've been meaning to buy these for a while and I'm so happy with the way these work. These are perfect for illustrations as they aren't too harsh and the use of water helps blend out colours. Highly Recommend! I'm going to get Set 2 as well (that's how good they are)!

A very good product, I make greeting cards, and these Aqua pens are ideal for colouring stamped pictures, they blend very well, and a blender pen is included in the package, I have seen these pens at a much higher price elsewhere, very satisfied with my purchase, which arrived within two days.
