A quartz "Turtle"? Not quite......
I purchased this watch intending to have it as a cheaper quartz alternative to a Seiko Turtle. After having worn this watch for a few weeks since purchase, I can say that I'm relatively okay with it despite its notable shortcomings:Pros:1) Short Lug to Lug distance means that it doesn't wear too large.2) Good screwdown crown action and feel.3) Nice etching on the caseback and crown.Cons:1) Dismal lume, barely readable in the dark after normal light exposure. Given that the reviews of the automatic Nautilus claimed that the lume was pretty decent - I wonder if the lume application was reduced on the quartz version as a cost saving measure.2) Bezel stiffness - requires significant effort to rotate.3) The strap ends bounce against the end of the case, resulting in them not being able to move freely or fold-over if resting the watch on a desk.4) The strap is a lint magnet.

Too pricey for as many imperfections as it has.
It looks good, but needs to have more holes and closer together, band is very chalky feeling, adjusting the band is difficult depending on wrist size, lume is very dim and doesnt last long. Otherwise a decent watch. Would i buy again, probably not.

Move over seiko turtle 🐢 there’s a new kid on the block Pantor’s nautilus 🏊🏻♂️.
I’m alwas been a seiko turtle lover , but I’m truly impressed with this Pantor nautilus watch at 45 mm fits perfect on the wrist , very comfortable doesn’t feel bulky, the bezel is tight ( but very functional ) bezel is not loose or have any play in it which anybody that scuba dives will tell you a loose bezel is not good when your timing underwater. And some seiko the bezel never seems to line up the the 12 o’clock marker. It doesn’t weigh your arm down. If I would have know about this watch before I sent over $400.00 on a seiko turtle, I would have definitely purchased this hands down side by side with a seiko turtle and the pantor holds it own. I will be purchasing another PANTOR.

Excellent Fit and Finish
I just got the Nautilus Quartz version. The buckle size is reduce now after some complaints. Here are the details:1. The machining, polishing and finish of the case is excellent. The watch sits beautifully on the wrist due to the case curvature.2. The crown is longer than most watches I own, but it does not eat into the top of the hand which again is because of the curvature of the case. The Nautilus at the end of the crown is cool. It is easy to rotate out and adjust than my Oris watch.3. The bezel is aligned. It is firm but not too hard to rotate. The rotation is with confident that you will end up at the right spot.4. The lume on the face and hands is very weak for a hardcore dive watch :( = But the single Lume dot on the bezel is very bright, probably a reuse from the Automatic version.5. The seconds hand does not align with the markings.6. The face and markings are very readable which is what I was looking for.7. The date window being between 4 & 5 is cool. It is closer to 5 than 4, not a big deal.8. The watch is very comfortable to wear. It is very light for it's size due to Quartz vs Automatic. I forgot that I'm wearing a watch some times.9. The silicone band is very comfortable. The buckle as mentioned before is reduced in size to not eat into the wrist anymore.10. The overall look is very simple, tough, cool, and looks a lot more expensive than the $139 price tag. This is the watch I have been looking for daily use. It's short comings are very minor and for this price I could not find anything that I liked. Already own Oris diver, Seiko SKX, Citizen Diver, Rolex, etc., but this one is my favorite now.

Excellent watch.
This is a divers watch. Trust me I've had quite a few. But this is one tough watch. I love it. I do a lot of photography especially surfers, and this is the watch to wear.

A Solid 'Turtle' Case Dive Watch for the Money
This is a solid, affordable alternative to the typical Seiko turtle case dive watches on the market. It feels well made, and appears to keep accurate time, though I have not done any extensive testing. I like the width and feel of the band, which is really comfortable compared to some stiffer dive watch bands I have had. The valve stem movement pulls and screws in smoothly, and there is something strangely comforting about actually seeing the small o-ring associated with the 200m water resistance. Overall, I am quite please and would consider buying another Pantor in the future, maybe upgrade to an automatic with a sapphire crystal.

Rugged, handsome, with a touch of class..the watch is too
I've been wearing this watch everyday in a uniformed capacity; meaning in adverse climates and hard use. It has held up extremely well! The watch face and bezel hasn't scratched yet, which is surprising because of the abuse its exposed to.The band did separate once. I suspect it is due to the gummy nature of the band causing the pins to compress. This may be a negative for some but seeing as it prevented a "De-gloving" incident I wont complain. There was no damage to the watch, pins, or band from this.My only complaint is that the lume leaves something to be desired, meaning its not quite bright enough for my liking. Some have mentioned the texture and feel of the band, describing it as cheap feeling. I, however, find it to be very comfortable.Pros: watch is handsome, keeps time well, rugged, and high quality for the price.Cons: lume is wanting, stress in band may cause it to separate. In closing I would argue this is one of the best budget minded "work" watches available. It is an excellent competitor to similarly priced seiko watches and a classier alternative to the ever utilitarian gshock.
