Fits perfectly in our REI quarterdome tent. Between the two of us, we own a lot of sleeping pads. This is our first two-person. We have different preferences in pads generally, but this one makes both of us happy. It's a great value, holds air, offers nice cushion, doesn't bounce when the other person turns over, is relatively quiet. Sure, it's not the lightest weight two-person pad around, but it weighs only a little more than our two single pads combined, is pretty lofty, and didn't feel overly heavy when carrying it for 30+ miles on its first trip into the backcountry with us. We're hopeful about it's durability. (Haven't tested it with the dogs yet.)

Although tested in colder weather, I believe the pad will perform exceptionally well in milder conditions too. The debate around its R-value suggests that it's perhaps not designed for extreme cold without additional insulation. However, by simply adding an extra blanket, the sleeping pad proved to be more than sufficient for my needs. For fellow outdoor adventurers, especially those involved in scouting or similar programs, I'd highly recommend the Klymit Insulated Double V Inflatable Sleeping Pad. Its comfort, ease of use, and portability make it a standout option for camping, hiking, and backpacking, across a range of temperatures. My wife and I used this on our honeymoon in Iceland. We had plenty of nights just above freezing, and it was warm and comfy. It was easy to inflate, kept air in, and rolled up into the bag OK. I highly recommend it! A little on the bulky side, but you'll appreciate the warmth.

Overall, I"m very happy with this purchase. We live in Wisconsin and wanted to do some fall camping and wanted a dual mat. We received a recommendation to try Klymit from a trusted family member. I initially ordered this directly from Klymit but received a damage item. They were helpful but in the interest of time I ordered from Amazon. Oddly the items looked different. I'm not sure why. Fast forward to our camping trip. It was ok to inflate but do not try to release just a little air while on it (common sense I know but my husband tried). The mat was fairly comfortable and quite and kept us warm even when the temperature dropped to 28 degrees (F). It filled a good portion of our little tent and is nice that it's full length instead of 3/4. I see complants about hte "holes" - if inflated properly you will not touch the ground. My husband found the mat very comfortable. I was content but not overly comfortable. Overall happy with our purchase!

Lightweight. Easy to blow up and deflate, super simple to roll up and fits easily back into its sleeve. Designed to keep you in the middle and holds your body heat a bit as well. Tested last week in the White Mountains on a 38f night, with a 20 degree mummy bag I slept like a baby. Highly recommend for tent backpacking.

lightweight and very comfortable to sleep on. I was hesitant after reading some review of it not holding air but it did. Wake up feeling good, with the pad still fully inflated. We end up loving this pad and glad it came with storage bag that is also an air pump. 👍👍 Only tried using it around 58-60 degrees for now and it was really comfy. update: Already used it while camping 3 times with temperature going down to 49 degree F. Wr had a good night sleep. This pad is very warm and comfy and also portable which is the main priority.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of owning the Klymit Insulated Double V Inflatable Sleeping Pad for almost three years, and I must say, it has been nothing short of a disappointment. As a casual camper, I had high hopes for this product, but it quickly became clear that its flaws far outweigh any positive aspects. Firstly, while the pad is marketed as suitable for camping and backpacking, I found it to be less than satisfactory in terms of weight. It is not excessively heavy, but it certainly falls short of being lightweight. However, I was willing to overlook this aspect considering I mostly car camp or drive to a campsite. My troubles truly began when I tried to achieve a comfortable night's sleep on this pad. The grooves on the surface, which are presumably designed to improve support and stability, turned out to be more of a hindrance than a benefit. When fully inflated, these grooves became uncomfortably hard, leaving me tossing and turning throughout the night in search of a soft spot that simply did not exist. For a product that claims to use a body-mapping technology that delivers support and comfort, this was a major letdown. But the most frustrating issue I encountered was the pad's abysmal durability. After a mere few uses (less than 10), I noticed multiple leak spots around the non-inflated areas on both the front and back of the pad. The leak spots are almost impossible to repair by myself because they are right at the edge of the inflated and non-inflated area. This is utterly unacceptable, especially considering that I primarily used it for car camping and in a tent, where it was not subjected to any harsh conditions or abuse. The leaks made the pad virtually useless. The pad had been sitting in my storage unit for the past year and I don't know what to do with a huge piece of plastic waste. I am incredibly disappointed in the quality of this product. After spending my hard-earned money on the Klymit Insulated Double V Inflatable Sleeping Pad, I expected a reliable and durable camping companion. Instead, I received a subpar pad that started falling apart after a short period of time. This level of quality is completely unacceptable, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this product to anyone. If you're looking for a comfortable and long-lasting sleeping pad for your camping adventures, I strongly advise you to steer clear of the Klymit Insulated Double V Inflatable Sleeping Pad. Save yourself the frustration, inconvenience, and wasted money by investing in a more reputable and reliable brand. Your camping experience deserves better than this shoddy excuse for a sleeping pad.

I’ve been really happy with this pad so far, although I wouldn’t say it’s as comfortable as sleeping at home like some reviews have said. I find you have to be very careful not to overinflate, in fact it should feel softer than you’d think because once two people get on it will distribute the air and stay soft- it took us a few trips to really get this right! The inflation seems like a pain but I’ve always had it blown up in less than two minutes. It is a bit bulky for backpacking but I find it comfier in the tent than two separate mats. I was nervous I’d get a dud that leaked after reading so many reviews, and on the first test run it DID appear to be leaking. I was upset, but decided to try again and that’s when I realized that one of the valves was actually not completely closed. You have to ensure that you hear a loud “snap” when you close them, they can look completely shut otherwise but still let out air. I’m not sure if this was the issue for other reviewers but double check this yourself before returning! Seems obvious but it almost tricked me.
