As I’m looking to replace my aluminium pots I thought I’d go for the tried and tested cast iron pots but I didn’t want the hassle of having to re-season them after every use. This pot here is the alternative - you have a cast iron pot with an off white enamel coating inside which makes caring for it a doddle (just hand wash and dry and store away). As it is cast iron, it is heavy but it cooks great tasting meals and works on my induction hob as well as oven. It doesn’t have a vent on the lid, but it has small spikes on the inside of the lid which collects and releases condensation back into the food which means your cooking stays tender and tastes better.
