Never going to be without these
These make THE BEST pickle martini. Also great for snackchuterie boards. Not too sour, just a hint of spicy. Open large can and separate into smaller jars, share with friends! Yum!

Fantastic
These are 10 stars!! This is a restaurant size can, I was not able to use my electric can opener, the manual can opener did just fine. These are small and crisp, I love pickles and these are amazing. The first bite has a tang then you get used to them. The description under size selection states 13.8 ounces pack of ONE. This is not correct, it is 4.1 LITERS pack of one. I passed this over the first time because I thought 20$ for 13.8 ounces no way. When I zoomed in on the can I realized this was a very large can. I read the reviews and the pictures showed how many pickles, TONS!! I am so glad I dug in and found out what a bargain these are. The taste is restaurant quality and would me make an awesome addition to a cheese board. Trust me these are worth it. I will be buying again and again. A big shout out to the vendor, thank you!!

Here there be pickles!
I received the huge can of cornichons today and immediately set about storing it in jars. I had 2 concerns when ordering, both of which weren't warranted.First I was worried about the cornichon to brine ratio since it's in a can and you can't tell until opening. Not a worry, the can was packed. For reference those are 2 1/2 gallon jars and 1 pint jar, all packed fully and even pressed down a bit before adding the brine.Second I was worried about the size of the pickles as it stated cornichons and gherkins, and often gherkins in the store are 'baby dills' which are larger than cornichons. This was also not a worry. They are definitely tiny cornichons.Someone mentioned that there aren't many pearl onions in there and that is correct. There were probably a dozen or so in the whole can, and all were in the bottom half. This could be fixed by reserving some brine (or using fresh) and quick pickling some frozen pearl onions to add in.Pros:I have a whole lot of pickles! The can was packed! They are the really small cornichons.Cons:The can was slightly dented when it arrived, but not a lot and there was no bulgingThe brine is a bit cloudy and there is a slightly metallic taste, which could be from the dented can or could just be from being in a can in general. It can be remedied by making fresh brine to soak them in for a few days, which to me spells opportunity. Change out the type of vinegar, the seasoning, whatever you want. Champagne vinegar brine with Penzey's Sunny Paris seasoning? Yes, please. White Balsamic with one of the Knorr Salat Krönung herb blends for marinade and salad dressing? Yes, yes, yes! Sherry vinegar and fresh herbs from the garden? Oh heck yes!!!

Too much vinegar
They’re not bad, very crunchy but damn they put too much vinegar.

A LITTLE DIFFERENT
Don’t get me wrong. I like Roland products. I buy and, of course, use a lot of them regularly. Had high expectations for Roland Cornichons as I am a HUGE fan of small crunchy pickles. However, these were just not to my liking. Not bad. Not a single thing wrong with them. They are small. They are extremely crunchy. Just a flavor I wasn’t expecting. Tho’ I’ve tried several times with different accompaniments have never paired well for me. TBH - I eat other brand’s cornichons plain as a snack - just never could with these.

Great price for a ton of pickles!
So, first off, I did not taste these pickles. I got them for my kid who eats pickles like they are going extinct lol. Pickles are surprisingly not cheap when you buy them by the little jars so I turned to Amazon to see what they had. Found this wonderful gem and gave it a shot. Sadly the can was fairly dented from transport so I decided not to risk it. As such, I was promptly given a refund. That said, I am still happy with the purchase and I'm sure they would have been delicious. I will definitely try again this summer if my kid is still as pickle crazy. In the mean time, this can has made a fabulous door stop, so I really am happy. Looking forward to trying again soon.

Bad Product
I want a refund for this product as it defective. This is the second can of these cornichons that taste 'off'. I replaced my first order because the taste was not right, which I contributed to the dented can. The second delivery the can was also dented, and these don't taste right. I don't believe that the cans are getting dented in delivery, but rather, Amazon is receiving defective or damaged merchandise from whoever they get this product from. Roland makes an excellent product, and these aren't the normal tasting cornichons.

The only way to buy cornichons-UPDATE !!!
I’m a French chef. These cornichons are delicious and pickles, properly stored, don’t go bad. You can spend $7-8 for a tiny jar, or $18 for a supply that will last a *very* long time, and I love serving French cheese plates.Very highly recommended.UPDATE: I have always loved these pickles because of the high quality of the product. HOWEVER, the last can was close to impossible to open because of the dents in the rims and the cheap quality of the can. Still, a great deal on cornichons if you don’t mind the frustration.
