Rock and Mineral Test Kit

Just what I needed. I did for some reason think that the scratch plates would be a little larger, but for what I need, this works.

Nice for a beginner

overpriced & penny is new so won't work for a test since there is no copper in pennies made after the 80's

This kit works pretty well except for the glass plate that was provided. I don't know what was wrong, but minerals that should have scratched glass easily barely left a mark. Tested the same minerals on glass plates provided in class and they scratched really easily. Aside from that the kit is great!

I am an ameature rocks and minerals collecter and i ordered this for my self. Items aere of good quality and good price. Only the basic tools included. Not for intermediates or experts.
