100% Valuable
This was a great read and written in a style that complements Amazon's training. The topics are thorough. They're explained directly from the point of view of a professional. I don't really like books with step-by-steps and screenshots, however, the way it's used in this book is effective. If you check out page 4 of the Look Inside preview, you'll see the screenshot of the abuse notice Amazon sends an EC2 owner. Its critical that you know what this looks like. Its followed by a screenshot of the form to report and the logs that are provided. You absolutely need to just see these and it doesn't need to be explained in lengthy text. AWS Security is a higher tier topic and anyone in the field needs to know the notice they'll receive, where in the console you go, and what data you'll see. So, if you're interested in AWS Security, this book is 100% valuable and I highly recommend it.

Just passed my AWS security exam
I used several resources, A Cloud Guru, Linux Academy, and Udemy. I used this book as a companion resource alongside Zeal Vora's course on Udemy to reinforce everything I previously learned during a 10 day period. This book spelled certain things out that I thought I understood beforehand.

not a bad book...
Content is good, like others have said many issues with grammar and typos. Also the content is disorganized. Its not a bad book for the knowledge but probably one of the worst I've seen in terms of language and organization...

Mr. Vora understands the technology
The book has numerous typos and unneeded phrases. However, when it comes to the technical knowledge that the book imparts, Mr. Vora is close to flawless. It isn't inclusive enough to be the only source for the exam, like online courses and AWS documentation, but it supplements the other sources very well.

Knowledgable author but book needs editing
The author clearly has a lot of experience and includes screenshots of using many of the services, but the spelling and grammar issues make this a very difficult read. AWS security is an area of expertise for me so I could follow along (I picked up the book to see if there was anything new to learn), but I suspect someone trying to learn this topic is going to have a hard time with this guide.

Painful Read, Little Utility
I will right a review in the style in which the expert author of this book has written as it's very important to. It's important to review a book for you may need to get a job someday that may need to read and write well and so it's important. AWS Certified Security - Specialty: Study Guide is a book with many pages of text that include some really useful information for people looking to get a better job or have a certification that is.Seriously, I can appreciate that the author may not be a native English speaker. Kudos to him for attempting to be the first to market to cover this exam. Which he attempts to do with an enthusiasm. That said, the prose of this book is so poorly crafted, it's nearly impossible to find any utility in it. I'd suggest waiting for the next revision or another author's work.

Good book to guide you through the implementation of Some of the security features
book is organized properly with steps to show you how to enable security features in each service. there are some grammatical errors in the book but can be managed with no issues. answers to some of the questions are wrong although in the description to the questions correct answers are highlighted.not sure if this would be enough to pass the exam but it is definitely a good starting point.

Useful
I learned a few things from this book and I found it quite an easy read.I could not give it a 5 because there were a lot of typos and because the end of chapter questions, while useful, did seem as hard as those one would get in the real exam.

Clear with good examples
Whether or not this book is sufficient to get you through the exam I can’t say, but as a primer on AWS security it is excellent. Every concept is clearly illustrated with examples and screenshots, it’s true that there are grammatical errors, but this doesn’t get in the way of understanding. At the price, well worth it.
