Lonf-Arm Machine Quilting: the Complete Guide to Choosing, Using & Maintaining Your Long-Arm Machine
I bought this book due to the fact that I was in the market for a Long-Arm Quilting Machine and the book was more then I had hoped for. Due to this book I adjusted my wants in a long arm quilting machine. I felt more confident looking for a used long arm with a price tag that I could afford. I also felt confident that I would be able to keep up any maintenance that a long arm quilting machine called for and with the easy to follow steps in this book I felt very confident in maintaining my long arm quilting machine in working order. And I have.

Long Arm Machine Quilting
This is a good book for Quilters.I got this book for my wife, she loves quilting and has some of her work hanging around our house. However the amount of quilting she does and the cost of the machine is a lot unless she turns out way more quilts . This book is well written and is a 5 star book so if you do lots of quilting get this book that is a Gold Mine of information.

Helpful reference
I bought this book to help me explore and understand the world of longarm quilting. I would like to buy a machine, so this is a helpful guide before considering such an expensive investment. The book is well written and organized. It covers every basic from selecting a machine, to how to thread and use a machine, pattern ideas, and so much more.

Got this because a friend loaned me hers...
Liked it so much, I wanted my own copy since I had to give back the loaned version. Don't have a long arm yet, but I know better what to look for when I do eventually get one.

Great book
This book is awesome! It is packed with SO much information. Carol covers everything. She answers questions I didn't even know I had until I read the answer! She tells you what you NEED to get started, useful items you may want to purchase and what items are best to not purchase until you have more experience. She has saved me a ton of money just with those suggestions. This book is WELL worth the money and one you will refer to time and time again.

So Much Useful and Concise Information!
If you rent time on a long arm machine, are thinking of buying your own or looking for a short arm home machine, this is a super book. You are taken from the basics of what the machine does, how it works and how to service it through to loading, choice of designs, designing your own pantographs, tips and troubleshooting - just about anything you can think of. It is so informative and easy to understand but not "geeky" or "techy".I rent time on a local Gammill machine to quilt my tops and have had the basic lessons but can't get any furthur technical training help without actually buying the thing (£15,000 plus). Using this book takes you up a couple of levels in skills and confidence. It's also "a good read" for any one who machine quilts on a regular sewing machine as a lot of the information crosses over.
