Tool for lifting heavy furniture, etc.
Very useful tool around the house to lift furniture and other items without injury. It is a short hand lifter, but would be nice to have a handle extension which would allow for even more leverage Very food product and we'll built.

The Handle Is Short - Read Carefully
This item has a short handle although its longer than others it is not long enough for practical, back saving furniture lifting. Its well built but just too short. The product has a large price for its size. If you don't want to have to bend and walk over with a heavy object at the end of a handle spend even more money and get a tall handle unit. I wish I would have considered the handle height more carefully. This item may not see much use in my world.

Works!
I’m a small person who is barely 100 lbs. This tool is very easy to use, you just stick it under furniture and press down to lift. It feels pretty heavy duty. With this tool and some furniture sliders, I was able to move a very heavy king size bed with drawers all by myself. I also moved a heavily loaded vanity. One obstacle you might encounter might be if the furniture is too tall and the gap between the floor and the furniture is too wide. I’m not sure what the usable gap range is, but my bed had about a 3” gap between the floor and the very bottom but I just had to press the tool handle from lower (just because when you make contact with the bottom of the furniture with the hooking part of the tool, you would have to lower the handle part more if the furniture is higher.)Overall, it seems very well made and I am happy about the purchase. Highly recommend - if I can use it, many others can too.

Easy to use
Worked well lifting feet of heavy wooden cabinet so I could slip furniture sliders under each foot. Didn’t have to strain my back lifting cabinet,

Struggled to move baby grand piano, Ok for lighter jobs
Let's say a baby grand piano weighs about 600 pounds or 200 Lb per leg. This device wasn't easy to use. At some points it seemed that dollies got deformed. Maybe be not, but if the weight is not centered and especially when moving from hardwood floor to carpet, a lot of maneuvering is required. We (2 people) definitely scratched the floor, potentially negating most of the cost savings... The dollies have flimsy wheels with low clearance and significant changes in this clearance under the weight, if it moves off center. I didn't like the design of the lifter, but it works with enough attempts. It is possible to move a heavy piece of furniture with much patients.

Will not live without this furniture lifter!!!
I’ve had several of these over the years but the PowerMaxx is the tallest and strongest so don’t get sucked into buying the kit with the smaller furniture lifter with the accessory slider pads. That lifter comes split in half and it screws together. This one is hefty and tough. I’m female, 66 years old and not in great shape. This allows me to lift almost anything and feel like Hercules! Moving a sofa is effortless! Be sure to get both kinds of slider pads to go under the feet of the furniture - the slick plastic ones that slide on carpet and/or the soft foam ones that slide over hardwood or linoleum.NOTE: The only issue is moving furniture with tall legs. This does not work on them. The purpose of this lifter is to get the lifter under a LOW piece of the furniture so you can crank it up an inch or so - just enough time push the slider pads under the furniture feet. If you have tall legs, and there is nothing for the lifter to get under in order to crank up the furniture, so again, it will not work. Most sofas, china cabinets, hutches, recliners, armoires, TV stands and dressers are low enough. Desks that come all the way to the ground on all sides will work. I hope this makes sense!
