Jebao/Jecod SCP-120 Cross Flow Pump Wavemaker with Controller Updated CP-40 (PET-SCP-120)

( in use on a redsea reefer 250) This pump is awesome for the moment..., we shall see how long it lasts. It actually has more functionality than my ice cap. Mine has been dead silent so far, although I am getting older and may not hear as well as I once did but it's certainly a lot quieter than the icecap. It makes great sine waves at various frequencies but be careful It will slosh water right over the top of your tank!

Just got this pump 2 days ago so it's been running for 48 hrs on C mode bc I have other Jebao pumps in my 4ft 75g tank and let me tell you... they've not like the other jebao gyres... these scary silent... I mean at 100% with ear on the magnet holding it and no sound but the water swoosh...IMO worth every penny.. very happy with the pump... long term... well we'll see as of now rock solid and silent

Has some serious power (too much for me) and does do the gyre function. I had the current loop system prior but had to abandon those lights for something with more par at a more attractive color spectrum. The current loop sysyems alternating powerhead gyre mode was great, creating a gentle back and forth wave motion. This thing has my elegence and tree leather blowing pretty hard in the flow even on the slowest speed and pulse mode. The end where the gyre pump is had massive flow and the other end of my 5 ft 100 gallon is ideal. I give it 4 stars for the price and the build quilty seems better than expected for 1/3 the price of the name brand models. Also it does create a gyre flow. I just don't like how that flow is waaaaaaaay stronger at the end of the tank were the pump is mounted. I would like a more even flow across the tank as advertised for these type of pumps. Not sure if the $300 name brand model is any better as I have no experience with them.

This wavemaker is great. Quiet, good flow and the wifi control is really nice. I've got a 90 gallon lagoon and have to keep it turned down fairly low.

Does not kick up sand! It does over a week move the sand slightly and then my fish move the sand again. I don’t have at full power. I will say the night mode and light sensor seem pointless if controller is in cabinet. Wish that feature was based on timer.

Way too noisy. Poor quality. Would not recommend.

Better longevity then the cp90. Good wide flow. Clears a 4 ft tank well. Pretty noisy and if you have an overflow it will make a crazy amount of water noise. I took mine out of the tank and put the RW 15s back in.

This thing is way to strong for my 90 gallon red sea. I have it on the lowest setting and still too much power. It's super silent and love the gyre function. Switching this with my brothers cp-90 because of how strong this one is. Quality and price and be beat. 6/5 stars
