This is the perfect size for a portion of the dry cat food I serve and it makes it easier to get to the bottom of the storage container since I buy the larger bags. I know most people wouldn't think about using this for this kind of portion control but it's really handy and we have a rescue cat that likes to hide when eating and this even lets us easily reach under the table where he insists on having his bowl. Very sturdy plastic. Easy to clean. Good weight and length.

I used this to serve sloppy Joe’s at a fundraiser. I scooped out a serving, put the bottom of the bun on top of the scoop and flipped it all over onto the plate. It worked perfectly. The serving was very generous. The scoop is well made.

Good portion control measuring spoon for my cat's kibble. The flat bottom seems to scoop and hold the kibble well. I used a black permanent marker to write the 'cup' amount on the underside of the handle, since the feeding guide on most dry cat food bags show measurements in cups vs. ounces. Says it's dishwasher safe, but I haven't tried that yet, just wash by hand.
