Was led to believe this had a microphone built in per the description only to find out certain SKUs of this model did not include a microphone. The seller will not respond to calls or emails...

Pleased beyond words!!
WOW!!! Talk about amazing service. The camera arrived the very next day. I am so delighted and pleased beyond words. The camera quality is stellar and much better than I expected for the price. I have to admit I’m not the best tech in our family and I thought I may need help setting it up but all I had to do was plug in the provided USB cable and presto I was up and running. I Love this camera.

Picture isn't as clear as I'd hope when using the 4x zoom, there is no microphone.
The description on this product should make it clear that there's no microphone, especially as the photo really, really looks like there's a mic at the top! For $500, I'd expect better resolution when using the 4x optical zoom. I'll be returning this and buying the one with the mic.

Great camera, but you will need a separate mic
Very solid piece of equipment, the wide angle is excellent with little distortion. There was a comment that the camera was not as sharp as expected for a 4K camera, but to really see that you need a 4K monitor and associated video support. There are versions with a mic, but in general camera mics are not great, I prefer a headset or a separate mic.
