Great series!
I'm reading this series because my son read them and enjoyed them so much, and wanted to be able to talk about it with someone. Though this series is written for young teens, anyone who enjoys a good adventure will appreciate it. Cynical adults like myself will often see where the next turn might lead, but that doesn't take away from the truly amazing adventure at hand. MacHale has created a world (or worlds, or Halla, or territory, or...) that has its own rules, making it easy to achieve the required "suspension of disbelief" needed to lose oneself in this saga. One book in the series is not enough - you must read them all. this review will act as my commentary on the entire series. A+!

It's just lovely.
All I can say about this novel is that it is lovely. This novel, upon reflection, runs the gamut of emotions. It's a combination of sad, triumpant, scary, sad, happy, and romantic all rolled into one. The ending brings many new questions, as always, along with a few interesting possibilities for answers to previously asked questions, but still no perfect confirmation. And so we go...

Love the entire Pendragon Series
I love the entire Pendragon Series and I think tweens would too. The series is about a tween boy. However, some of the descriptions and action get a little graphic after book 4. The first 3 books are whimsical and fun and there's even a strong female teenager main character making the stories interesting for both sexes.

Great Read for Tweens
Once again St. Dane is running amock, this time in Zadaa. He has learned to manipulate Bobby even more, but Bobby has learned a few tricks himself. This book is so exciting, it kept my 10 year old awake "just to see what happens in this part". She was torn because she wanted to see what happens but didn't want to finish too soon and then have a long wait for the next one. Excellent choice for middle school level readers.

This here is the 6th book in the Pendragon series.Pendragon finds himself chasing Saint Dane to the Territory of Zadaa. Pendragon is finally fighting on Loor's home Territory.Bad blood is brewing between the Batu and Rokador, the two races on Zadaa. The feud is half hate because each thinks the other is harboring water from the rivers that have run dry. It's a race against time to find out where the water is and settle the two peoples before an all out war breaks out.
