PopSockets Phone Grip with Expanding Kickstand, White on Black

I thought this would be a fun little thing to add to my phone - and it is - but it's so much more. I love how it eases some of the tension from holding my phone, and it fits my fingers perfectly. I'm a woman with small hands, so I don't know how it would work with large hands, but I know for me it works great. I love the ease in which the socket pulls in and out, and how easy it comes off my phone when I need it to. I just put my fingernails under the edges and wa-la! off it comes! I also appreciate how, when it's pushed down, it's about 1/4" thick, so it isn't super bulky. I do have a MagSafe phone case, and it just pops right on. Could I live without this? Yes. But I don't want to! I love that it holds my phone up for a landscape view so I can watch videos or listen to music, or audiobooks better. Yay for Pop Sockets!

Pretty new to the magnetic charger phones.. not even sure what to call them. But I missed my pop socket. I had another on my phone and it kept sliding off, so daughter told me about these with the magnet attached. I didn’t believe her until I ordered, how great they fastened! I’ve had this for a few days now and not worried at all about the power of the magnet when I’m holding my phone by the socket. This socket lays super close to the phone too, being one piece. I love that! And sometimes I don’t even feel like I need to use the socket becasue of the soft vinyl feel of the piece keeps me from dropping the phone (I’m old) becasue there’s something more to hold on to. In the car, is the only “problem” but not even a problem. In the closed position, the socket is so close to the base, that I have to actually pull it out to fit in my holder and haven’t gotten used to how far or what that feels like yet. Small price to pay for the convenience and the looks and feel of this. Very pleased.

I just got my new popgrip today and it seems fine. It’s holding onto my phone case perfectly and it stands up on its own so I can watch videos. I was worried because I saw a bunch of reviews saying it falls over on its own but I haven’t had any problems. Like I said, I just got the new one today so I will update my review if I have to in the future.Before I got this popgrip, I had the original version that had the longer base. I’m not noticing a difference in the two versions.

Works great with iPhone 16 Pro MAX but only with the right MagSafe-compatible case. Without a case this does not hold the biggest iPhone well. The PopSocket’s magnet is incredibly strong so be careful what you stick it to. Once attached it to the flat side of some heavy-duty steel shelving to see how strong the magnet was & had an extremely difficult time removing it, so if it’s not holding well to your iPhone’s case it’s likely the cases fault. For comparison the PopSockets magnet feels stronger than Apple’s 25W MagSafe’s but it’s still easy enough to remove as needed.

The magnet is surprisingly strong, and the grip feels great in the hand. It’s nice being able to remove it when I want to charge wirelessly or use a car mount. I like the minimalist navy design; it’s sleek without drawing too much attention. That said, if you use a thicker phone case, it does make the phone feel a bit bulky in your pocket. I’ve adjusted to it, but it’s worth noting if you prefer a slim carry. Overall, it’s a solid MagSafe grip that blends function with style, and I’d recommend it for anyone who likes the convenience of PopSockets but wants the flexibility of magnetic attachment.

I love all of the Pop Socket products. I finally upgraded from an iPhone 11 to a 16, so of course I had to get new accessories. I had a pop socket on my previous phone from day one, I can't live without it at this point. So when I saw the newest Pop Sockets are magnetized I was so excited. This has a lower profile than the old versions and the magnet is so very strong. Now I am excite to get more colors.

It's May 2025. I haven't removed it since I bought it. Super strong. No fear of it sliding off my mag type cover on my Samsung Ultra 22. Rides in my purse, my pocket, front seat of my car and anywhere else I toss it and it still looks brand new. Pop sockets aren't the cheapest but I'll be damned if they aren't the most durable products. Gorgeous color too. Easy to coordinate covers with to change things up

I like this pop socket. I prefer these because the phone feels better in my hands when holding it and it helps when playing certain games on my phone. I think the are a little pricey,but the cheaper brands do stick as long or as good so I’ll take this. The adhesive strength is great and I like that it pushes down when not in use. Just remember to get the changeable ones if you like to switch them often. I got my phone case off a different site and was excited to see Amazon had an exact matching pop socket to go with it. I love the design and build quality!
