Great Starter Microscope for Kids
This is a pretty good microscope, and it’s been a great way to introduce my children to the microscopic world. They enjoy searching for tiny creatures in our samples and examining all sorts of objects. It’s turned into both a fun and educational experience for them. The microscope works well for its purpose, providing enough clarity and magnification to make discoveries exciting. For teaching kids and sparking curiosity, it’s an excellent choice. TL;DR: Great starter microscope for kids. Fun, educational, and effective for exploring the microscopic world.

Clear Images and Easy to Use
I recently purchased the BEBANG 100X-2000X Microscope and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. As a student of biology, this microscope has been an excellent addition to my study tools. The microscope is incredibly easy to use, with straightforward instructions that even a beginner can understand. The images produced are clear and sharp, and the magnification range is impressive, allowing me to view samples at 100x to 2000x magnification. For the price, the BEBANG microscope is an excellent value. The quality of the microscope is high, and it feels very sturdy and well-built. I have used it frequently for my biology lab assignments and have found it to be reliable and consistent in its performance. Overall, I would highly recommend the BEBANG 100X-2000X Microscope to anyone in need of a microscope for academic or personal use. Its ease of use, value for money, and sturdiness make it an excellent investment.

Decent little microscope
This is a decent little starter microscope. My son loves it. It comes with some neat slides. as well a kit to make your own slides. There is also a phone adapter to take pictures, which was used for the attached pictures. The reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 is two fold. The instructions are very basic but they dont tell you how to use the slide making kit. Which would be very useful because there is a tool in it with a spinning razor blade for slicing sample im assuming. The second is the phone adapter. You can get a decent picture with it, but the part that slides onto the eye piece is very loose so you have to hold the phone to get it lined up properly to get your picture. Overall its great for kids, easy to operate and a good value if you are wanting something that functions well without breaking the bank.

Nice little microscope.
I bought this so that I could get a look at and try to identify what I believe to be some type of worm since my healthcare provider wouldn't take a look at them. I started with one simple specimen collected using some clear tape, at least to get started. It's been a very long time since I used a microscope, but it's super easy. I found that the phone mount is a little unstable and in order to get it to work I had to have it swung upside down on the eyepiece. I might use some adhesive foam padding just on the inside of the phone mount to keep it stable. Attached are pictures from each of the highest magnification configurations 200x, 400x and 2000x. For a quick introductory test of the device, I'm very pleased. Everything that comes with it, including the samples, is useful. If you're just curious about things, or if you're like me and have a health concern and can't get any real help from healthcare providers, or you're a beginner scientist, this is a great little microscope. Personally I think that's some type of roundworm. I dunno. I'll be playing with this microscope and plenty of samples to find out!

Everything it promises
I gave 5 stars because it is everything it says it is. I was hesitant to show the video because I'm obviously no pro, but wanted to show that this is 1 tiny drop of pond water. Gross, yet amazing right?! The lighting options and the color wheel make a big difference in what you can see. My last microscope has the same magnifications but not these options and I paid twice as much for it. This microscope is perfect for curious minds both young and old (like me). I did return this but ONLY because I have a shaky hand and for me, I need one with a stage that moves left to right because manually is too hard for me, but I think the majority wouldn't have that problem. I would still absolutely recommend this

Disappointing
This microscope is very cheaply made and useful only to show microscope parts and basic usage. The ocular is 25x. That means anything you look at under this microscope is magnified 100x minimum (with 4x objective). Most of the prepared slides that come with this are specimens that are much too large to be viewed in their entirety at 100x. The 2x ocular lens that comes with it can only be used in addition to (not instead of) the 25x. The 40x objective magnification is useless You cannot see clearly with it. There is no way to move the stage. So, you basically have to push the stage clips aside and move the slide with your hand. This is NOT the proper way to move a slide. The cord is very short. You will need to put the microscope on a table that can be positioned against a wall or use an extension cord. There are no instructions on how to use the phone attachments or any suggestions on what to do with the plastic collection assesssories that come with this. The zipper to the duffle bag POUCH broke the first time I zipped it back up. I'm going to keep this strictly because it would be a headache to pack up and send back, and it does give my child some idea of how a microscope works. However, if you have worked with a quality microscope before, prepare to be disappointed.

Super Cool!
I got this out of curiosity after seeing some videos online of other people looking at things. My 4.5 year old niece is fascinated, wanting to look at everything now. The first picture is from a drop of a crushed pomegranate seed that we had, it’s so amazing to see. The second is a grain of sugar. It doesn’t really say it in the description but it comes with 12 premade slides. Some of the ones it comes with are a sample of a leaf, the leg of a bee, small intestine, and a zea seed. Very easy to use overall but I’m having a little trouble with the higher zooms like 2k, but I may need more than just my one day of practice. The regular 4x, 10x, and 40x are super easy though. It does come with three blank slides and some cover glass for it. However I would suggest if you’re gifting them to someone, maybe buy some additional blank slides so they can have more to test things around the home. Can’t wait to go test some nearby lake water!

Not enough light to view at 2000 magnification & it is blurry with the 2x (2k) lense.
I have been wanting a 2k magnification compound microscope, but they're out of budget. I recently ordered AmScope M150C-I 40X-1000X All-Metal Optical Glass Lenses Cordless LED Student Biological Compound Microscope, and right after I bought it, I received a notification that this one went on sale and it included the camera holder so why not? I put this one and an AmScope side by side and compared them. You can see the photos. The one I called "CheapScope" is from this listing. The AmScope was brighter in general and more detailed at 1000x. I went ahead and put the same prepared slide onto the one from this listing and it was pretty dim, but I could make things out. I believe it was slightly less clear than the AmScope. When I switched it to 2000x using the 2x eyepiece, it was so dark I could not make out any details. This is after using the knob to set the light bulbs correctly and also using the dial to increase the illumination to max. I was only able to view the details by putting my samsung phone over the lense since it takes great night shots. I had to hold the phone though because the included phone holder is not adjustable right to left. The phone holder will only work if your phone has a camera right in the middle. The phone holders also a cheap plastic and would not likely last long.
