These are great. When you heat a plate or bowl in the microwave it is often too hot place on table or hold. You can place these on the table, under that hot item. Or if holding use a larger plate, the trivit, then the hot plate/bowl. Keeps the plate/bowl from slipping around as well as giving you a cooler bottom plate to hold onto,

Easy to clean

They are a little too small. They also stuck to the bottom of the dish I was using; glad I noticed the sticking before I put the dish back in the oven.

They are a little on the small side… I have to use three or four together for a standard large pot… They work well though… I cannot complain about that

I was in love with these until I went to bake cookies recently and put 2 each down under the baking sheets so they didn't move while my son was arranging the cookies. When I put the cookie sheets in the oven I noticed a burning smell after a few minutes and one of them was melting to the bottom of my oven and one was melting through the rack! I hadn't realized that one stuck to each of the cookie sheets. I will say that they cleaned off my oven very quickly and with only water, but it could have been a disaster and now I have 2 less. I would still recommend but please be careful!

They're lightweight. Don't take up much room. Simple and yet designed to evoke calm modern aesthetics.

I wanted to like these, but there’s quite a few problems with it: small, inconsistent size, and bad heat resistance.-SmallPictures are misleading, making you think they’re big enough for small pots, but it’s really only good for small bowls and mugs. They can be put together to build a bigger space, but the next issue makes that harder:-Inconsistent sizeThe trivets are not all the same size, and then stacking it becomes really clear. I was always confused why when I tried to use multiples to build a bigger area, they didn’t fit perfectly. Well, because they’re different sizes. That made me wonder what other quality issues might be hidden:-Heat ResistanceIt’s fine to use for microwaveables and mugs of tea/coffee, though the holes allow more dripping. I’d want to build them for pots, pans, and sheets, but the first time I did that, they melted and stuck to my sheet. Maybe stove top pots would be okay (lower heat), but I can’t trust it anymore.Positives are that they are as shown in pictures, with the same colors and designs. Too bad they’re not as good as trivets as they should be.

Simple and efficient product, a little smaller than I thought but you can put two, three together and it does the deal.

Didn't realize until writing this review that I only received 4 pieces not 8. I only got the hexagon pieces not the slanted ones.
